Like figures in Madame Tussauds wax museum, they stand together bloodless and stiff â the dead elitists who dare go among us, the Great Unwashed. I have met some of them. Some are nice, but the majority are so elitist that they are like a synod of intellectual snobbery â out of touch with the world and stuck in the dusty rooms they write in, while becoming intoxicated by breathing in the stale air of their own gas.
This current display of solidarity is as smug as the smirk on Glenn Beckâs face, one of the 22 contributors of National Reviewâs âAgainst Trumpâ issue who should know better. Beck had an addiction problem. He went through a âchange.â Does this make him any less authentic or sincere in his recovery? By trying to âundefinedâ Trump, they are saying they can see into his heart and soul. Well, you morons, if you want to see Trumpâs heart and soul, look to his children. That more than anything is the measure of a man. And it is not an easy thing to bring up children. Whatâs more, we know that Trumpâs admonishment to his children to not âsmoke, drink, or do drugsâ can be looked on as the words of someone who respects discipline. Also, Trump to my knowledge is the only candidate in recent memory to mention President Eisenhower! Are you saying that Ike wasnât considered âconservativeâ?

The excerpt is from the middle of the article.
How many left wing actors support Trump? A lot apparently. Not surprising, since he has helped bring “Hollywood morality” to the U.S.
Posting tip; if you paste the text of the article into Notepad then copy the text from Notepad and paste to FR you will lose all the crazy symbols.
Post a list or they don't exist.
Thanks...I will do that next time. I wonder how we got all the squiggles?
notepad doesn’t work- at least not for many- use the following link to paste and convert- it really works well

You get smaller and more irrelevant with every post. I have to keep enlarging my font just to read them.
“I coulda been a contender. I coulda been SOMEbody...”
Davi was a good bad guy in “License to Kill.” He wasn’t one of those Bond villains out to conquer the world. He just wanted to make a quick buck or two with cocaine.
I think Mr. Davi has been reading my posts!
“Trump is a patriotic American who has built businesses that employ thousands of people. What have his critics built? They live on other peoples money and produce nothing but words.”
“intoxicated by breathing in the stale air of their own gas.”
That goes in in my quote journal.
IIRC, Max said Bob Davi is a rather conservative guy.
Name them; I double dog dare you and you better have proof!
Truly, the NR22 were lost by Trump, and they turned on him, when Trump first said, "Make America Great Again." That means NO MORE STATUS QUO.
The NR22 was totally petrified at the thought of being politically incorrect and the mean things that would be said about them in other publications. No more cocktail party invites. No more provided partners proffered by lobbyists and donors nightly. No more insider info on stock tips and inclusion in other deals that turn people in the Washington class into millionaires.
Bump for a great read. NRO gets slammed, rightfully so.
HOORAY Robert Davi
Love Davi.
Thanks for posting.
Great article. To me, the money quote -
...So, you see, opinions are all over the place, and there are no absolutes - no pure strain of conservatism. The survival of America is at stake, and the 22 writers of National Review are goons trying to muscle and goose-step the America people against the GOP frontrunner, Donald Trump. Now that is not conservative...
