It's the "grass is greener on the other side" syndrome. But they will find that there is no way to establish an internet discussion forum in which all members are in 100% agreement with each other. Eventually, rifts will develop and feelings will be hurt and you will have the same periods of division that we see around here from time to time.
I'm a Trump supporter so I guess I'm one of the bad guys according to the faction over at the "Consistent Conservatives" site. But I would happily vote for Cruz should he beat out Trump for the nomination.
Like you say, GO TRUMP, GO CRUZ. Either way we win, they lose (the establishment GOPe).
I will be happy with either outcome provided that the one who wins the nomination also wins the general election and actually becomes president. It happens that I believe that Trump has the best chance to prevail in the general and also is the more likely to bring substantial change to politics as usual. But I might be wrong. Just like I was wrong earlier today when I projected the Patriots beating the Broncos. If Cruz gets the nomination and then wins the presidency, I'll probably be one of the happiest people here.
I took a look at that other thread (on that CC website) and they aren't all bad people. Some of them are good Freepers that I would welcome back. My suggestion to them is to get a thicker skin and not take so personally the banter that goes on around here.
Right now Trump and Cruz are battling it out and you'd think they were mortal enemies. But once one of them wins and the dust settles, I think they will eventually work together on the same team. I'm hoping the same will eventually occur with this situation as well.
That is key. I haven't been around here as long as you but I'll admit I had my "feelings" hurt once or twice when I first signed up......until you realize it's only WORDS for crying out loud!

Wideawakes being a prime example. I was lurking there the night that they had a coup d’etat and locked the founder out of his own website. I have to admit that I was very amused at seeing that sanctimonious crew engaged in a civil war.
