I don’t have a mole.

I’ve never been to the site.

It was not presented to me as an anti-Free Republic site at all, but a place ... similar to the live-thread Trump events where people are encouraged to refrain from posting anything negative about Trump.

I have respected that request from the Trump people.

The only reason I did not go there was I was leery of an alternate site and didn’t feel the need for one.

Trump supporters can be pretty bad but they can’t and don’t hurt me. I feel sorry for them. They are sincere and worshipping someone who doesn’t deserve it.

Your last comment, posted above, is pretty much what someone might consider an unnecessary poke in the eye.
To state that someone is ‘worshiping’ a candidate makes a claim that can’t be backed up, it just comes off as if you are ‘better’ (as it implies that you don’t/won’t do such a thing)and that never builds bridges.

For me, the apex was last weekend when the entire board was flooded with anti-Trump articles, posted back to back, all from NR. It was stifling in it’s attempt to make a point.

The real tell for me is exactly what created this thread, that being supporters of anyone but Trump are vehement in declaring they would never vote for another. That is absolutely their right to do so. What such a defiant declaration does, imho, is create a situation where the other person is left to defend their choice. Perfect recipe for disaster.

If rational people can make their case without assuming to know what’s in others mind (ie. worshiping), so much of this contention would ease up.
