The media is playing Trump and conservatives, dude.

Trump is himself a CREATION of the media.

IF not for the media combined with Trump's skill in showmanship and entertaining, Trump would be virtually unknown.

"OH but but but but he's famous for being so brilliant in business!! That's why he's famous!"

I guess America's roughly 32 dozen OTHER billionaire businessmen, including real estate moguls born to about the same kind of wealth as Trump but now worth a LOT more than Trump (so obviously a LOT smarter at business than Trump) aren't famous because ... ??????

The media is playing YOU, Lake, and you don't even know it. What a joke.

This year, Coulter supports another RINO who cannot win: Donald Trump.

Well that certainly convinces me, Linda it is then.

Cruz worship makes people delusional. And makes them say a lot of crazy and irrational things.

Perhaps you might step away from the keyboard and take a few deep breaths before posting again.

I've been for Cruz first all along. But he's missing the boat. Trump has outflanked him, has him confused, has him rattled and now Cruz is falling into the same trap as Bush, Carson, Fiorina and all the others who attacked him and lost.

Personal attack mode against the populist favorite and national leader buys you no points whatsoever. Cruz should ignore Trump and stay on HIS OWN message! And make it bolder!

And stay the hell away from Beck, Lowry and the National RINO Review and the Gang of 22 GOP losers. The last thing Cruz needs is to team up with DC insiders!

Trump is running and winning with his anti-GOP, anti-insider, anti-establishment, anti-DC, anti-PC, anti-illegal-alien, anti-Muslim-invasion, and anti-business-as-usual platform.

He's pushing and winning with his bold secure the borders, secure the nation, deport them all, ban the Muslims, send them back, restore our religious freedom, defend our guns, defend our local education, cut the taxes, cut the regulations, cut the EPA, cut the bad deals, cut the crap, grow the economy, bring back capital and jobs, bring back manufacturing, rebuild our powerful military and make America great again message.

It's what the PEOPLE want and are hungry for. They want strong, successful, positive, bold and unabashedly pro-America, pro-capitalism leadership! A winner!

It's about the people, stupid!

Why not? Both of them are East Coast establishment liberals who had a sudden conversion to “conservatism” a few years before they ran for President.

Thanks for the response.

Think the first part of the post to you mentioned his post and run ritual.

Hate to see a good poster go the the ‘outhouse’ or certain barnyard parts for responses. Would like to see the level of discourse raised a notch or two!!!! :)

Really disappointed in some posters.

Thanks again...................never, NEVER would think of stifling you first amendment right

and

if you would could you point that out to me where that happened. I will correct it and apologize!!!!!

Take care.........pilgrim

“That’s the way — attack the messenger when the message hurts!”

I don’t care what drivel David wants to post, it’s his 100% history of using Free Republic to make a post in hopes that he’ll get hits on his opinion piece at American Spectator. If you’d take a second to look, you’ll see that he makes a post, and has never once added to the ensuing discussion on the thread. He throws his opinion piece out there, and leaves. There’s plenty of decent writers who will link to one of their article here on FR, and then join into the discussion on the thread. Not so with David Catron. He’s clearly just pimping his opinion pieces for hits at American Spectator. It’s really lame.

“.....to a long-term contributor to Hillary and other democrats, a long-term advocate of government run single-payer health insurance, a long-term crony capitalist supporter of confiscation and redistribution of private property, and big-government statist as a “RINO”. “

This is really getting old don’t you think?

I think he was a cheerful giver, where you donate and trust that the receiver does good with the money. God, rewards the cheerful giver.

He shows that he’s a good custodian of his riches, and I suspect will be of ours also. God rewards the person who saves, tithes and spends last.

A single payer system ONLY in that he wants to see everyone covered as I do. I see these people. It’s a travesty that the less fortunate, the very young and the very old have no health insurance.

Lower the age for Medicare, that would help immensely.

No one gives this man credit for running an adept campaign. You and that halfwit Glen Beck can mock him all you want, but his writings are credible, and he’s shown us that he’s NOT an empty suit, but I guess when he runs the table you’ll then have to agree.

In the meantime keep under estimating him.

Coulter also has a long history of picking the RINO candidates. She was a big Christie fan. Then Romney. Now Trump. There is a pattern.

That pattern which you do not seem to recognize is immigration/amnesty and Coulter saw each of these as the best chance to stop it. She repented over Christy but still perceives Romney as a staunch anti-Amnesty republican.

Palin also has a history. She continues to support McCain despite his record. So she is not exactly the standard for principled beliefs.

You do not know that Palin still supports McCain and neither do I. I have hopes that she will abandon him this time as he and his campaign staff along with the entire GOPe and numerous freepers, surely abandoned her.

If all that matters is that instead of a hard-left authoritarian democrat like Hillary or Bernie, we get a somewhat left of center authoritarian democrat who managed to run as a republican, then keep on supporting him. We will still have a deal-making narcissist barely distinguishable from Obama, cutting deals and watching out for the interests of big business partners, and appointing judges who think it is their job to remake the law and constitution into whatever they need it to be to continue the transformation of this country when congress doesn’t act the way they want them to.

How could you have missed all the "Palin is a sellout money grubber that is seeking the spotlight" threads that followed her official endorsement of Trump for President?

How long of a track record does somebody have to have around here before losing "newbie" status?

Just a little bit more.

A single payer system ONLY in that he wants to see everyone covered as I do.

I can remember when there was no healthcare if you had no insurance unless of course you had money. You could almost always get in to see a local doc that charged three to five dollars for an office visit some even issued prescriptions when $10.00 prescriptions were out of reach for many patients.

We simply could not afford to get sick so we just pretended we weren't. If turpentine or coal oil didn't fix a cut, we toughed it out until it healed, usually badly. Many here will have no clue what I am talking about.
