Here's Why I Am So Absolutely Opposed to Marco Rubio
Ace of Spades ^ | January 25, 2016 | Ace

The Establishment has a gameplan. The gameplan is to manage their voters and leave them with little choice but to accept the agenda they've set for us.

Here is what they are hoping: "Sure, the base will squawk and make big noises and rant on the internet, and sure, Rush Limbaugh will hit us, but if we just remain absolutely implacable, unwilling to budge an inch, eventually they will get over their temper tantrum and accept that We Always Win So There's No Use Resisting."

Now, obviously, amnesty is a major part of the Establishment's platform. In their 2012 post-mortem, the consultants, who are super-smart and know everything, made amnesty a central plank to winning in 2016.

I don't understand why Trump gets a pass for his 2012 opposition to the self-deporting of illegals as "mean-spirited", but Rubio is forever tarred by the Gang of Eight.

Either both of them should be given credit for changing their postion, or neither of the.

The RNC/GOP is owned by The Cheap Labor Express. They have already paid for an amnesty candidate (again) and they expect to get one.

I will NEVER vote for amnesty.
I did not vote for McAmnesty and only held my nose for Romney because he told us he was against amnesty, even though he was lying.
I was one of the voters who threw the weasel Eric Cantor out.
If we want to change their minds on amnesty we have to change the people.

CANTORIZE YOUR WEASELS, AMERICA!

Rubio reminds me of a jr. high hallway monitor or student council president. All hat and no cattle.

Because Trump was not being paid by the U.S. taxpayer at the time, he was a regular citizen. Rubio was put in office with our help and the taxpayers expected him to be loyal....he betrayed us, IMO.

Ditto.

I am inclined to think Hillary and Bernie Sanders would not be as bad as Rubio. At least with them, you know where you stand and will not be surprised by betrayal.

What difference does that make? Trump was expressing his honest views at that time, and in fact helped out Obama and helped Obama's narrative on immigration by publicly referring to Romney's plan as "mean-spirited" and "crazy".

Why should we believe his post 2012 conversion is any more genuine than Rubio's?

“But actually I am able to make my own decisions.”

That is totally acknowledged in the piece. Which I read before, so maybe it is not in the excerpt here, if it is an excerpt, which I’m not even sure about.

I know things are supposed to be bigger in Texas, but 5'-10" should get you on the rides.

I think Trump had a major change of heart and mind after he met Jameel and then began to tour with him.

As for the Ace of Spades’ comment that Trump was “temperamentally not suited” to the presidency, of all the people he is the MOST suited. I’m afraid Cruz is temperamentally suited to be a lawyer, not a legislator or a pres.

Trump is immune from accountability for anything he ever said or did previous to the last thing he says or does. There’s little rational thinking in this decision making. It’s utter disgust at the political system (which I completely understand and share) and a new blind allegiance/hero worship (which I won’t do regardless of the person) because he says he can single handedly fix it.

I’m opposed to Rubio because he strikes me as very fast and loose with facts. He is a great speaker but he is just like the Dems that way, he sounds good til you look close at what he is saying. He has enough truth to his statements to make them sound believable, but often aren’t. Very similar to Communists propaganda, always put a bit of truth into any lie/mistruth you say to make it believable. Before you Rubio backers get all in a huff, I’m not calling his a communist, just saying he is following their way of putting out information.

I respect your point of view, but I don’t agree with you.

You choose to believe what he said in 2012, I choose to believe what he’s saying now.

I have no interest in supporting Rubio.

Rubio went beyond talk, he took action as a Senator. And he still favors amnesty. He just recently said he does.

And Trump says that after he rounds up those 11 million, he’s going to have a big fat door to let them back in. Don’t see much of a difference.
