Do the powers that be in the GOP-e think Republican voters actually believe this still in 2016? They really think we are still this stupid now, even with Trump winning the polls which basically should be telling them, "we're fed up and we're not going to take it anymore!
That was when it dawned on me that there is a "Club", no matter your public expression, that remains loyal to only their membership.
I listened carefully as best I could, but they never discussed politics or talked shop.
Cool though meeting them close up and personal. I ran across Bob Dole a lot in the 96 campaign at various airports on campaign stops. His wife ruled everything from the clothes he wore to the food he was allowed to eat. I don't think Bob Dole knew which way to turn at the bottom of a set of steps, and that was in 1996!
