One wonders why Santilli is a part of the affidavit. He was on record right from the beginning as opposing the takeover and said he would stay for the outcome and to document what was going on. Didn’t read all of the affidavit as I have to head to work.
Because apparently from the affidavit the government is taking the position that reporting on, or protesting against, or even following some federal employees car, is now a felony interference with government agents. Because after all, they supposedly can't do their jobs.
By that test after a good snowstorm if the roads aren't cleared fast enough the plow drivers could be headed for prison.
Personally I think what Bundy et al did was ill advised, but the indictments seem to be a giant stretch. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for similar indictments against the next group of leftist protesters who block traffic, or otherwise "prevent" federal employees from getting to work.
