This whole thing is insane. First of all, Zika has been around and indentified since the 1940s. It’s not very serious for people who get it and doesn’t have any lasting effects.
Any virus, including the common cold, can cause birth defects. There is actually no solid evidence that this virus “causes” microcephaly - however, if you get a virus at a certain point during fetal development, various things can ensue, depending on the stage. Sometimes it’s microcephaly or other damage, often identified by finger webbing and other signs, even if the child is carried full term. But this can happen with any virus, as I know personally.
The UN is trying to do a population control thing here, and I think soon abortions will be mandatory. If they really want to stop the mosquitoes, which are the same mosquitoes that spread yellow fever and dengue, all they have to do is use DDT.

What little evidence there might be is a supposed increase in microcephaly in Brazil, which is probably not accurate.
