Uhm.. Been here right next to 18 years.. I have noticed that more than 50+% of (gaikokujin) lose their image of Japan (and will to live the 'Japanese way') before they hit 6 months here.. Reality hits them hard and they run with their tail under and between (tucked)... It is NOT as 'racist' as many publish.. It's just that people don't know how to accept reality (some societies are not compatible... that point should be making it obvious now around the world :p ...). AND.. I am not normally a grammar nAzI, but, please check the difference between THEN and THAN .. ;^)
