When that gotcha question came at Trump from Kelly, I was sorry to see him go on the defensive.
I wanted him to say something like, “I have some unkind words for men and women alike. I don’t consider them on two different levels - I consider them equal.”
That may have gone over. We women can’t have our cake and eat it too. We squawked to be treated as men for years (excluding me), and then want preferential treatment when it suits. No dice, I say.

Ya see, I don’t think the Trumpster was all dat excited about doing this here debate, in da first place...but I don think he had no intention of not showing.
So, I personally think, that he’s getting bored by dem...So he brings up the Kelly Megyn fewd thingy...and she counters...And it’s great pre debate hype...
And we’re moving into the direction of probably the biggest viewed debate of all time, because these two are doing the ALi vs Liston thingy okay? Ya know to draw up viewers...right? Right.

So, Trump’s son da day before on Fox Morning show says his Dad is lookin forward to da debate...and people like Laura Ennngraaahamm and others say he’s going to do em... and Trump says he is. There’s notin... notin that hints he ain’t...

So, all of a suddin...someone at Fox leaks to Trump about the ambush they got planned for him...see? and den maybe behind da scenes he now says, hey what gives here? And just maybe, he gets chapter one of Da ARt of Da Deal out, and for da first time he tells dem.. he might not do da debate...like seriously because he don’t think they’re going to not treat him guuud.

But on top of this here ambush with this here Muslim lady...Ailes puts out this chicken Bleeep twit that mocks Trump and makes him look like a loser IF HE CHOOSES to debate...
So, he decides not to...
So, Loooooo. From where I’m standin... I’d say they all had a pretty good thing going there...and no doubt they mighta had 26 or 28 or 30 million people der had they’d played dis right...
They ended up with only 12 mil.

That is true. You are right.
Am disappointed to hear that about Dobbs. Don’t watch Fox anymore, hardly ever. Have watched Hannity and Judge Jeanine. After Hannity was bashing Trump so bad the other night, I have lost interest in him and his radio program.
Fox has lost so many of their viewers, can’t imagine their ratings are high, how can that possibly be?
Tells you more about Faux News, than Dobbs.
Faux is in sheer panic.
Dobbs did make this decision.
It was made for him
by a network in panic.
Most people watched it on C-Span, NewsMax, OANN, or streaming through their laptops or computers. There was no way that those viewers could be counted.
Just look at the difference between the debate thread and the Cruz RALLY THREAD and those debate threads and all of Trump's RALLY THREAD and last night's Trump VETS RALLY thread. All of the ones with Trump have many, many, MANY more posts.
For example...one night there was a Cruz Rally thread and a Trump Rally thread on the same night. at one point, the Cruz thread had barely 50 posts, whilst the Trump one had at least 500 posts!
One had not so happy posts, with many of them about Trump, the Trump thread was filled with HAPPY posters, with perhaps one or two mentions of Cruz and ONLY because some Cruz supporter was TROLLING !
Dobbs did NOT make this decision.
All of this is interesting, but like so many threads it misses the real problem.
Fox News boasts maybe 100 times a day that they are fair and balanced.
A few nights ago, O’Reilly had Cruz on and asked him several questions about his relationship with Trump.
After he was through, he announced that he would have Trump on the next night to offer his side.
And true ti his word, he did.
No I am no fan of O’Reilly but he handled that as all true newsmen should, fair and balanced.
Now contrast that with Kelly having three guys on her show: Brent Bozell, Chris Lowery and Chris Stirewalt..all four of them trashing Trump is the nastiest way possible.
Did they invite him to defend himself?
No, because they wanted to destroy him as a candidate.
What ab out that show was ‘fair and balanced”/
So the bottom line is that Fox News has become Fox propaganda.
I totally agree. I was shocked Lou Dobbs caved in to Ailes. Lou has lost my respect. Done watching his show!!
Lou is an old timer and as such, he probably has an inherent loyalty to his employer. I remember how cruelly he was treated at CNN (Lou was one of CNN’s founding anchors), and it was over illegal immigration and Obama’s birth certificate (or lack thereof) . . CNN ‘let him go’ and Roger Ailes picked him up eventually. That has to intensify his loyalty to Fox. I do think Lou likes Trump and I’m quite sure they share the same feelings about a lot of issues.
Who knows . . maybe Lou was the ‘mole’ who alerted Trump to the trap being set for him by Fox News and, by coming out as he did in support of Fox, he could dispel any suspicions about his supposed loyalty.
He didn’t expect that. He didn’t expect to be tainted with the sexist moniker. He had to fight it off for weeks until he put it to rest with Hillary.
She did him no favors....
And she was scheming for something even bigger.
I wasn’t going to watch the debate...because I thought Trump would not get anything from it... and in fact...might even risk losing some points going into next week...
But they gave him a nice out...if you read my last post above this one...
Time to add Lou Dobbs to the “No Watch” list.

I kinda wondered if O’Reilly could by the ‘anonymous’ donor mentioned by Trump at his rally. One million dollar donor who had surprised Trump by wishing to remain anonymous since it didn’t seem to fit the way Trump usually thought of him.
Or maybe it was Roger Ailes . . trying to get back on Trump’s good side.
RIP Fox. They are dead to me.
