Whatever the network, whoever the “moderators” the questions asked in “Debates” be they Dem or Rep, are pitiful. It really shows a lack of understanding of the real issues amongst the MSM. It’s a sorry state of affairs for Megyn to try to zing Trump with such a stupid question, which struck me as prejudicial, broad based (no pun intended) and divisive.
If professional women can’t take some name calling then they should stop asking for traditional male occupations. If FatAzz Rosie and others can’t take it, as well as dish it back, then TDB. Usually Megyn is spot on with her questions, and asks them in professional manner, even when confrontation is in order. But that was WAY over the top.
When that gotcha question came at Trump from Kelly, I was sorry to see him go on the defensive.
I wanted him to say something like, “I have some unkind words for men and women alike. I don’t consider them on two different levels - I consider them equal.”
That may have gone over. We women can’t have our cake and eat it too. We squawked to be treated as men for years (excluding me), and then want preferential treatment when it suits. No dice, I say.
