Apparently, you're one of the few who can conclude Trump is really saying the opposite of his own words.

I am one of the few who can literally read Trump's next few sentences where he straight out says "for the most part people will be on private plans." So who are the people the "government" will pay for? The same people already targeted under medicaid, moron. In fact, in that same interview, he says it TWICE about how he plans to expand the market in each state for private plans.

You are a liar. Why do I call you that? Because THIS HAS BEEN DEBATED IN PROBABLY HUNDREDS OF THREADS AT THIS POINT, AND YET YOU WILL DENY TRUMP'S OWN WORDS.

You’re wrong. You’re wrong headed. But you’re a perfect Trump man.

Donald Trump on trade, healthcare and more (CNN interview with Jake tapper)

Donald Trump Endorses Universal Healthcare, "The Government's Gonna Pay For It"

I'm a conservative on most issues but a liberal on health. It is an unacceptable but accurate fact that the number of uninsured Americans has risen to 42 million. Working out detailed plans will take time. But the goal should be clear: Our people are our greatest asset. We must take care of our own. We must have universal healthcare.

Our objective [should be] to make reforms for the moment and, longer term, to find an equivalent of the single-payer plan that is affordable, well-administered, and provides freedom of choice. Possible? The good news is, yes. There is already a system in place-the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program-that can act as a guide for all healthcare reform. It operates through a centralized agency that offers considerable range of choice. While this is a government program, it is also very much market-based. It allows 620 private insurance companies to compete for this market. Once a year participants can choose from plans which vary in benefits and costs.

And how does all that not mean, if not technically "Single Payer" something akin to greatly expanding Medicare and or Medicaid or emulating the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program and isn't that what the liberals have also clamored for? And won't you and I pay for it via increased taxation? No Trump says he will pay for it out of the "Yuge Savings" he'll get somewhere else. Big on promises but light on details.
