I see when the facts don’t validate your emotion based opinions Town-hall, just make up new facts!
Iowa is relevant only in the sense that if Trump wins it, he will be the nominee. Trump is not expected to win Iowa. Trump should start worrying if he loses New Hampshire and/or South Carolina.
I guess in the aggregate, no, based on history, however, this cycle has been very different and his #s have been strong from almost day 1, everywhere. It’s not like 2008 and 2012 where there were several candidates who were up and down through the early primary cycle leading up to Iowa. So, no, based on history, it would not be a surprise, however, I’m not sure history or conventional wisdom applies this cycle. That all being said, we know nothing until later tonight :)
Going to be intresting to see how the Cruz team spins it if he is the one finishing third.
According to polling a plurality of Iowa voters are either undecided or soft in their support for any candidate.
Religious voters play a significant role in Iowa politics.
Religious voters have demonstrated in the past a distaste for candidate who engage in the bare knuckle politics Cruz/Trump have recently engaged in.
Historically polling in Iowa has been rather in accurate. Iowa almost always produces a surprise result.
Rubio has gone full out of for the religious votes. His ads spend a lot of time with him talking about his religious faith. His stump speechs spend a lot of time on his faith
Team Cruz switched from targeting Trump to going after Rubio on Friday in Iowa
I’m 62. I’ve not had a land line in 11 years.
What a load of BS from this article, the entire media is antiTrump.
But I think nobody trusts the media, not much lately, they have shown their true colors
I think Trump will finish 3rd, just below Rubio. Cruz wins in a walk!
Except everyone in the establishment was telling us how “Frontrunner” mitt romney had ‘electability’... look how good that worked.
This was when 73% of the primary voters were AGAINST romney
Contrast with “I’m a winner Trump” who is an ACTUAL winner, and who has huge stadiums of crowds showing up to prove it.
Tediban!
That’s epic!
Personally, I have no idea. I left Iowa in 1977 and NEVER went back. :-)
Who’s the real enemy?
Who are their friends, enablers, and allies?
What are their tactics?
Which candidate will not play by their rules, and after taking attack, after attack, is still leading in the polls?
THINK! and at all cost avoid a condition called purism, it will inflict us with 8 years of Clinton.
But let me ask you this question, Trump bot:
I will not vote for Trump in our primary on March 1, which is my right, but I will vote for him in the general election if he is the nominee.
My question to you is: Will you vote for the nominee in the general election if it is someone other than Donald Trump?
Trump is not “losing”.
I prefer Cruz, but the author is smokin’ fine weed if he believes this.
Thanks for making my point. At least you own it. Good on you .
the most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people.
â Theodore Roosevelt
Same here
People would have to know who Cruz was before they could dislike him. haha...
Who is Kevin McCullough?
Donald has put so much into Iowa with its fickle voters as part of running the tables and proving he can win everywhere. If he wins tonight, I think he runs the table. The only chance would be quick exist by other candidates setting a two person race.
If he loses tonight, this is going to be interesting.
Don’t try to change the subject. Deny that your posts are ALL anti-Trump and that many, if not most, come from Townhall!
