'IDF checked the noises, they aren't terror tunnels'
Arutz Sheva ^ | 2/1/16 | Reut Hadar

Eshkol regional council head Gadi Yarkoni on Monday addressed reports that Hamas is ramping up its terror tunnel construction, and several attack tunnels have already crossed underneath the border.

Yarkoni said that the IDF has checked the complaints of residents of the region adjacent to Gaza who said they heard the sounds of digging underneath their homes, and he claimed that the sounds were not from terror tunnels.

"I don't say that there aren't tunnels, the IDF needs to say that there aren't tunnels. The IDF needs to check everything. The IDF should come to every resident who hears noises and give them an answer," Yarkoni told Army Radio.

The regional head added that "up till today the IDF came and checked all the noises and didn't find that they were noises of tunnels."

He did not say what the noises actually were caused by.

"The IDF currently knows what it needs to do to prevent the tunnel threat - it must build the (tunnel) barrier. The Prime Minister knows what needs to be done - to approve building the barrier. That's the only answer. It will be easier to calm my residents when the Prime Minister and Defense Minister declare that there is nothing to prevent establishing the barrier against the tunnels."

Overwrought residents magnify noises they hear and interpret them as tunneling terrorists. Police check under beds and listen, and it's a rattling pipe or a burrowing animal. Overwrought residents remain unconvinced. Negative has not been proven. And so it goes. Huge subterranean wall and plenty of intelligence are the only real proactive defenses.

How strong, thick, long and deep would a subterranean wall have to be to be effective?

Question for an engineer. Deep enough to make a tunnel impractical given the resources that Ghazans presumably are limited to.

Transfer the Muslim squatters out and then your problem is solved without need of building a “ huge subterranean wall” —( and to hell with the Muslim murder gangs- all of them !)

A couple of neutron bombs might be a solution.

= = =

Maybe it is not a wall, but a spaced set of acoustic sensors, composing a 3-d grid to triangulate any detected ‘sound’ or activity.

Meanwhile, there are buried charges that can be selectively detonated at the appropriate location (my enhancement).

And so I assume you want to toss the Palestinian Christian squatters out too because they are not “Jewish”? Where does it end as the Zionist state does not distinguish between Christians and Muslims where it pertains to Palestinian residents, in Gaza or the West Bank, they, the Christians as well as the Muslims, are all squatters in the eyes of the Zionist state.

You obviously are not a follower of Christ who said to love your enemy, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who persecute you. No, you obviously are one who takes every person of any sect of a certain religion, put them all in a box giving them all the same label, even though their actions are closer to Christ’s than yours. This Judeo-Christian arrogance engulfing the world is exactly what the bible says is going to bring the world to the brink of destruction. Well, if that’s what you want, go ahead, but it does not have its roots in the doctrines of Christ.

First, you’re very wrong about the Jerusalem government. While there are some small number of trouble- making Christians from time to time, they seriously embarrass good Christians everywhere -— and the Israeli government is always reaching out to that small group. most Christians in Israel are loyal and very thankful not to be under Moslem rule — and tremendous effort is expended by the Israeli national and local governments to try to protect Christians and Churches from the constant Muslim threats as well as the occasional Jewish miscreants ( who are subject to serious punishment we’d both applaud). Your comment mischaracterizes the situation in quite inaccurate and negative terms and is therefore misleading. Second, you assume incorrectly my thoughts about how the Muslim murder and terror problem ( which threatens both Christians and Jews) can best be remedied. I did not - and do not - suggest Christians be lumped into either that problem or what I’d suggest doing to fix the Muslim problem. Again, any bad incidents in Israel by xhristisbscir Jews are the exception and are condemned by the Christian and Jewish authorities, whereas the Muslim terror and murder problem is a continuing problem and is routinely applauded, enabled , facilitated, and promoted by many of the most prominent or notorious Moslem “leaders” there. I was addressing the serious and ongoing Moslem terror and murder problem, not any Christians or Anyone else. Period. . Thank you very much.

Yes. Please stop writing in this manner to me. I am very closely involved with Christians in all of Israel including thosr you referred to. Suffice it to say that Moslems are terrorizing and mass- murdering Christians (including some actual crucifixions and bring burned alive in metal cages) — in several parts of the area outside Israel, but Israel manages to protect Christian lives. Nothing is completely perfect anywhere of course but Please help those of us who are trying to help save lives - and especially The few remaining Christians in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, etc. protecting or rescuing Christians in several primarily-Moslem lands is an absolutely critical matter now!! And please stop trying to restate my ideas - you aren’t getting them right and if that’s due to any shortcoming in my wording I apologize but please let me speak for myself as best I can anyway. Thank you and good night.

I didn’t realize that we are ONLY to help those who claim to be of the same religious affiliation as we are. I thought that we were to take to Gospel to the nations by seeking peace with others of different religions so to bring them to Christ? How do we bring those of other religious beliefs to Christ by blowing them up along with hundreds of thousands and even millions of innocent peace-keeping bystanders? Or by labelling the peace-keeping bystanders of the same faith as those you call terrorists as also being terrorist? Where is your mercy for the innocent Muslims being persecuted and killed? When did Christ ever say it is ok to kill someone we perceive as our enemy? I know ... NEVER! And those I referred to do not live in Israel, they live in Palestinian territory that the Israeli military occupies and rules over them with terror, so who is the real terrorist, the ones who seek to protect what is left of their homeland, or the ones of Ezekiel 11 who went into the land, guns ablaze, overthrew the legitimate governing authorities so to set up their own regime of iron mixed with clay. Yes, Jesus revealed to us who this end days tyrannical regime would be that rules over HIS land in Mt 21, the parable of the vineyard owner, where Jesus quotes directly out of Daniel chapter 2 and it isn’t Esau or Edom, it is those who say they are Israel and are not. Shalom

Then I watched those forgiving guys who were put on their knees with det cord wrapped around their throats the had their heads blown off. All of those victims were trying to say I love you guys.

What the heck are you talking about? Who said anything about radicalized nut jobs? Every religion has them! Even Christianity! What part of every Muslim is NOT a radical as every Christian is not a CRUSADER do you NOT understand? With that said, even Christ & Stephen forgave those who killed them, BEFORE they were killed, in the hearing so that MANY repented and became believers! There, it is NOT I that is the fool lead by political propaganda so to get us to give up more of our freedoms, the ones we didn’t loose yet due to the Unpatriotic act Congress passed after 9-11 that has done NOTHING for our national security!

We are to try to share with everyone yes. And if the Muslims would abandon their Satanic evil “religion” that preaches and teaches so much terror and murder and rape and pillaging, hallelujah praise the lord!! But we must first protect ourselves if we are to do this, or anything else. Second, . It is Israel’s land. .. ( their constant terrorism and murdering will eventually get them eliminated one way or the other, anyway. But we will see). Best,
