He was fondly recalling Rubio's time in Florida, and basically would be A-OK with a Rubio nomination, and that Rubio would be one of teh 2 or 3 guys he'd be happy accepting.

He said lots of good things about both Cruz and Trump. He's covering a lot of ground today. Compare the candidates in this race to everything since 1988 (except maybe Buchanan's win in NH in 1996 for some of us), and the candidates rising to the top are better than those years. I believe that Rush genuinely likes all three men at the top, and isn't interested in puncturing any balloons, at least not these balloons. My guess is that he thinks that Rubio could be kept in line on the Gang of Eight stuff, and that his good points offset some of his bad ones.
