Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is questioning the "culture" of rival Ted Cruz's campaign, a day after Cruz incorrectly spread the message that Carson was ending his campaign.
While acknowledging that CNN was the source of the erroneous report, Carson blamed Cruz's team for deception.
"Heres the issue, a culture exists within the Cruz camp that would allow people to take advantage of a situation like this in a very dishonest way," Carson told Fox News host Bill O'Reilly on Tuesday.
"Isn't this the same thing we see with the Obama administration?" he added. "The IRS scandal, no responsibility.
Carson seemed to indicate he wanted heads to roll in Cruz's staff.
"Let's see what in fact the Cruz campaign will do about those individuals who inappropriately disseminated this information knowing that the caucuses were not over," he told O'Reilly. "They were absolutely anxious to get it out there, weren't they?"
Cruz apologized earlier Tuesday for the incident.

cnn reported it, all his staff quit, he’s grabbing for straws here. Maybe Trump is feeding him dirt to fly with?

Carson saw Cruz’s “apology” as ingenuine. Because it was. It was an after the damage was done, save face apology, only offered because Carson is seen as a nice Christian guy and Teddy can’t have people thinking he was mean to him.
Cruz is an ass. It won’t be long before he goes down in flames in scandal. Hopefully before he kills us in the general.

I wish Carson would do a lawsuit. I think it is justified. At the very least it might make the big time media. This story is being hidden from most of America for some reason.

So Nasty. So what if he didn’t have a chance. Why should a guy win by cheating and stealing? Is this what a conservative does? absolutely not. You should be disgusted by a Christian doing this. And Carson is a good man....too bad Cruz isn’t the same.
Herea are the facts:
CNN and MSNBC reported that Carson was quitting. Where they got that, I do not know.
Cruz’s people sent that out to their people in the field (at the caucus sites.) Byt that time, the caucuses were underway.
When the reports came that he was merely taking a day or two off to “get some fresh clothes” (in the words of Carson’s campaign), they should have tweeted that out, but apparently got involved in something (maybe collecting vote counts) and neglected to do so.
No dirty tricks, just an error. Cruz has already called Carson and offered his personal apology for the errors of his staff. He apparently did not know that this was happening.
This is a nonstory, and if it were Trump or Rubio doing it, the media would not even report it.
