The rumor (an honest mistake of which Cruz has actually apologized), maybe cost Ben Carson .25-1% of the actual vote, and wouldn’t have changed the results (marginally) anyway.

Chicanery has been part of political campaigns since - well, forever.
Calls for recounts, or even revotes, are only one symptom of this “fever” that overtakes the also-rans, or the person taking second place especially. Being a good sport about it is not their strong suit. There is also a desire to place quick blame on just about everything except their own failures.
The Donald simply did not run a very good ground game in Iowa, where Ted Cruz ran a practically textbook version of the way it is supposed to be done. It perhaps had little or nothing to do with the absence of The Donald from the most recent Republican “debate” (actually an attempt to paint a target on The Donald, something that he did not need), but may have been more about paying attention to detail.

Trump is a spoiled, rich old man, who acts like he should be in diapers, as he acts THAT childish.
Well, everybody knows that Canadians are very dishonest. After all, does Trump have massive holdings in Canada?
