Trump was leading Cruz in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE LAST THIRTEEN POLLS, including leading by a massive 11% in the CNN and Fox polls. Trump shoulda blown Cruz out of the water. Instead Cruz came from behind and clobbered Trump.

A piddling 3% margin for Iowa’s favored son is hardly a “clobbering”.
Frankly, I expected Cruz to do *far* better than he actually did.
