Carson needs to get over it. He was never a viable candidate.

Carson is clearly on his way out. But an awful lot of people liked and respected him even if they supported other candidates. He had the highest favorables in the entire field.

Ticking him off likely means that when he exits, he will throw his support (which is an order of magnitude greater than someone like Santorum's) to either Trump or Rubio, who is also a religious guy. This is mistake that could really cost Cruz

Yeah, how dare he get uppity like that.

Doesn’t he know Cruz is his better? He’s the consistent principled godly honest strong happy conservative warrior that was prophesied to user in God’s kingdom!

If Cruz wants to pull tricks, then in the name of the LORD he is within his mandate from heaven to do so!!!!!!!

I admire the way Carson obviously studied up on the issues of this race. Considering this was not his natural field, he really had a lot of things down on many many subjects.

But he did need to exhibit more passion and a desire to make changes to America. I always felt like I was in a professor’s class. The only real passion I’ve seen from him is over this Cruz issue.

But lets not pretend we don’t know the role Trump played in greasing the skids on Carson by pounding him with really vile attacks and contrived innuendos.

And finally as everyone knows, a good part of his core team quit over William Armstrong. Carson should have kept him as a silent advisor, and not let him get into day to day decisions and finally let him speak for Carson.

Perhaps Dr.Carson learned a lot from this and will have more success running in the next election.

Doesn’t matter what you or I think about who was or is a viable candidate. That’s not the process the founders intended or that most of us ascribe to. You fight hard, you state your case, but you fight fair. Honesty matters.

I have thought highly of Cruz, but If these allegations are true, and Cruz knew about what was happening, he’s not a conservative, because it would indicate he puts expedience before principle. That’s not my impression of what most people on this site stand for. I have not picked anyone yet, and have been prepared to vote for anyone that comes out of the primary process. Having said that, if this occurred and was known and approved by Cruz, OR, if he didn’t know but refuses to fire the people who did this, I won’t be able to vote for him, and will abstain if he gets the nomination. That’s a big position switch for me, but I don’t think I will be alone in thinking this way.

Concur. He might be a brilliant neurosurgeon, but he’s not ready for prime time as a politician.

Kinda missing the point, right?

Cruz is supposed to be the good guy, riding in on the golden palomino with the white hat. It’s starting to look like Cruz might be pretty nasty. That will kill him in the end IMO.

That certainly doesn’t justify Cruz’s tactics.
