Panel defeats bill banning use of 'secret' execution drugs [Virginia]

A Virginia legislative committee has defeated a measure that sought to prohibit officials from using execution drugs they received from another state if they don't reveal the source of the drugs.

I, for one, think someone should die the same way their victim died. No mercy was shown during the crime. No mercy shall be shown during the sentence.
I don’t get the hoopla surrounding these execution drugs... like they can’t find a humane way to do it.
Hospitals perform open heart surgeries every day... holding someone’s heart in their hand. It doesn’t hurt the patient. Why not use the same anesthesia?

Run them through a tree chipper and then chum the water for sharks.

Nitrogen or Argon gas would work well. Or just OD them with heroin collected in drug busts. They have to dispose of that anyway.

Pb is a very common and cheap drug AND very effective for execution when delivered at a high rate of speed.
