Marco Rubio’s 7 Top Achievements In U.S. Senate
breitbart.com ^ | February 4

Posted on 02/05/2016 4:35:35 AM PST by Helicondelta

Following Rick Santorum's inability to name a single achievement of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) , the media sought to answer the question for themselves. Yet many reporters appear to have come up empty handed.

As The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza writes, a "major part of the problem is that Rubio doesn't have all that many accomplishments in the Senate."

Though Rick Santorum was unable to name the accomplishments of the man he just endorsed, there are indeed several accomplishments that are quite noteworthy. Below are a few of Sen. Rubio's achievements that Rick Santorum could have identified on MSNBC this morning:

...

(1) The Rubio-Schumer Gang of Eight Bill

Rubio's immigration bill would have tripled the issuances of green cards, doubled the dispensation of foreign worker visas, and granted citizenship -- and, thereby, welfare access and voting privileges -- to illegal immigrants.

...

(2) Obamatrade

Sen. Rubio cast the 60th and deciding vote to fast-track the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement.

...

(3) Blocking Curbs to Muslim Immigration

In 2015, Rubio introduced an immigration bill which would have allowed for an unlimited increase in Muslim migration.

...

(4) Enabling His Corporate Backers to Replace Americans With Foreign Workers

Shortly before the Disney workers got the axe, Rubio introduced legislation in January of 2015 to massively expand the H-1B program.

...

(5) Blocking Food Stamp Reform

In 2011, Marco Rubio voted against a Republican proposal which the Congressional Budget Office projected would save the U.S. government $10 billion by reining in the abuse of the food stamp program.

...

(6) Benghazi

As George Will pointed out, Sen. Rubio gave his "enthusiastic support of the Barack Obama/Hillary Clinton intervention in Libya."

...

Nice research. That’s the way to question Rubio’s attributes and weaknesses....with facts.

On the other hand, he does rate and “A” from Gunowners of America. So at least he is not an “anti.” However, Rubio’s negatives exceed his positives in terms of conservatism.

“(7) Worst Attendance Record”

I have to disagree with this one. He was there it’s just
that those were the days where he didn’t wear his
high heeled boots and couldn’t muster the head count.
I don’t like the idea of Americas first pigmy president
especially when he wears high heeled boots to compensate.
It outs him as a fraud.

Under no circumstances will I ever vote for Rubio,

Hes the NWO fail over candidate should their floundering designated loser to hillary (Jeb) drop out,

I suspect Jeb and his daddy feel betrayed,

I’ve seem some here that say they would vote for Rubio after Cruz or Trump, they’re the same ones that think still think McCain is some kind of conservative hero, frightening lack of discernment,

“they’re the same ones that still think McCain is some kind of conservative hero, frightening lack of discernment,”

They had to back down a little. Now he’s what they call a
neoconservative. In other words it’s all about
saving face and still not admitting he played them for fools.

The truth is he’s a liberal acting like a republican just
to win election and stay on the dole.

And Rush has taken to flogging Rubio on his show everyday, claiming what a “real conservative”, “not in the least Establishment”, great candidate he is.

No. It won't. Not in N.H. The Rinos have chosen Rubio. Despite what Rush and other have said. Marco is the only avenue left for the GOPe to have any say at the convention.

The other Rinos will be abandoned by Monday. All efforts will be to make Marco #2 ...(which he is already) and move forward with him as their lead pet.

As much as I love Ted...all the forces against him are just getting stronger. His and our only hope is that the South holds fast and is not seduced by the TRUMPERTANTRUMITE.

N.H. as a conservative or even a center right state is no longer. Spare for a few strongholds...most of New England has gone far left/socialist. And it is never coming back.

Never.

Actually I believe Rubio has 8 “Top Achiever”awards to his credit. It has been reported that he has sold more used cars and Florida swampland than any other sales person in hisotry, hands down. (sarc)

I still think we could live with Marco...I just don't see him being forgiven in the South the way the Ritalin soaked brain-dead Rinos have in New England.

One can hope.
