It’s going to make a lot of folks decide against Cruz.

As opposed to Trump who compared Carson to a child molester and said he has a pathological bad temper? That is, when he wasn't mocking someone's physical disability before a crowd of people.

Is a subject change a concession?

We’re not talking about polls here, we are discussing a behavior where something worth suing for one day is meaningless the next.

To put this behavior into context, will building the wall also become meaningless? How can you distinguish those things you know Trump will remain steadfast on?

Why should he as Carson is continuing to mouth off about it?

No one covers Carson mouthing off on it. Trump is wisely shaking it off and focusing on New Hampshire stuff.

But Trump also said he may choose Cruz for VP, a day or so after he was going to sue him. Trump is psycho.

Historically, it has depended on what is good for Trump Enterprises. He has sold out America before and I expect he will do it again. Only this time on a grander scale.

On the surface, Trump seems to be a bit bi-polar at times. However, the man knows how to grab a headline with hyperbole. It didn't work, so he moved on.

As Groucho Marx said, "These are my opinions, if you don't likethem, I have others."

I don't think he's double minded or bipolar. I think he is laser-focused on one thing, and one thing only: benefitting Donald J. Trump.

Yesterday, Trump thought it would help him to say he would sue Cruz.

Today, Trump thinks it will help him to play nice with Cruz. So he did.

I like it, the only thing missing is the Mounts of the political hacks that took him on and lost.

Let’s start with David Dewhurst and Trump. Maybe we can put up the opposition in the Supreme Court cases he won too. :)

I’m sure someone could twist his words into something like, “I don’t care about it any more, the race is over,” and then quick send out an announcement that Trump has dropped out of the race.

The things that Donald Trump has promised to do, will be the things that he will do. So building the wall will not become meaningless. Have you read “The Art of the Deal”? If you have you have forgotten the “Trump Cards”. One of which is: Deliver the Goods

You can’t con people, at least not for long. You can create excitement, you can do wonderful promotion and get all kinds of press, and you can throw in a little hyperbole. But if you don’t deliver the goods, people will eventually catch on.

I think of Jimmy Carter. After he lost the election to Ronald Reagan, Carter came to see me in my office. He told me he was seeking contributions to the Jimmy Carter Library. I asked how much he had in mind. And he said, “Donald, I would be very appreciative if you contributed five million dollars.”

I was dumbfounded. I didn’t even answer him.

But that experience also taught me something. Until then, I’d never understood how Jimmy Carter became president. The answer is that as poorly qualified as he was for the job, Jimmy Carter had the nerve, the guts, the balls, to ask for something extraordinary. That ability above all helped him get elected president. But then, of course, the American people caught on pretty quickly that Carter couldn’t do the job, and he lost in a landslide when he ran for reelection.
