Exactly. Not trying to steal the thunder of the Trump win, but that is a problem that needs to be fixed.

The whole process of whom can become a party member for a day is what's dumb. It's how the primary runoff was stolen for Cochran. (that hurt is never going away for Constitutional Conservatives)

In this case, it's telling. There was a race for both the 'pub and dem primaries, so outsiders couldn't use their votes to create mischief. They were choosing who they liked better, pretty much Trump or Sanders. And they chose Trump. In this case, it helped boost the candidate who has the best chance in November.

Like it said Trump won among conservatives anyway, so it doesn’t matter if there was cross over allowed.

Cruz wouldn’t have done any better in a closed primary. Lascivious pulled a lot of those dim votes

Bernie Sanders got far more votes than Donald Trump. Something we aren’t supposed to notice.

"open primaries are as dumb as open borders"

In NH, declared Democrats cannot vote in the Republican primary, nor vice versa. Only "Undeclared" can choose freely, and once you choose a ballot, you are considered "Declared" for that party for future elections, unless you take steps to resume your "Undeclared" status. Less than half of NH voters are "Undeclared".

So, yeah, it's not an open primary. smh

Independents swing the general election. His support there is very good for that case.

45% were not Republicans

That actually works in our favor.

Also, there are many, many former Republicans who just couldn't do it anymore. Conservatives just not Republicans.

Additionally, what does conservative even mean anymore? There is nearly NOTHING left to conserve. It's gone. Lost.
