The lawsuit between Donald Trump and Univision over the Miss America pageant ended Thursday with an amicable settlement, the terms of which are being kept confidential.
"I'm glad we are able to put these differences behind us," Trump, the consummate deal-maker, said.

"I have known Donald Trump for many years in both a personal and professional capacity and we are pleased to settle this matter and move forward," Randy Falco, the CEO of Univision, said Thursday.

If it’s a public company it’ll be discernible in their next earnings statement as either an outlay or a reserve against an outstanding liability. Just look to compare the delta in the quarterly statements.
So we want the culture of DC backroom deal-making to be ended by someone who thrives on such dealings? I’m not seeing it, personally. The “told ya so” parade for the next four years will not be as fun as it should be.

I want principled leadership that delivers absolutely nothing... because if they can't get 100%, then they're not interested.
I want leadership so incompetent in business dealings that jobs continue to flow across the border. I want trade deals so bad that everybody in China is richer than the average American. Because isn't that what America is about? Exporting our wealth to other countries?
More than anything, I want even more leaders who are in the pockets of lobbyists and donors and other elites, because I know they'll always look out for me! Just like they've been doing all this time!
