Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is criticizing Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz for what he calls "low-life, sleazy politics."
Huckabee, who suspended his presidential campaign after a poor performance in Iowa, attacked Cruz's campaign for telling people on the night of the caucuses that rival Ben Carson would be dropping out of the race.
"I can attest to the fact that even in our campaign there were many efforts to try and say that people shouldn't vote for me or Rick Santorum or Ben Carson," Huckabee said on his podcast this week, Buzzfeed News reported.
"The Cruz people said it would be a wasted vote and they should vote for Cruz. It wouldn't have made a difference for any of use but it is the kind of low-life, sleazy politics people truly get sick of."...

IOW, caucusing for Huckster, Santorum or Carson would be a wasted vote.
Glad to see the GOPe is getting their money’s worth out of their investment into huck. Their splitter strategy has boomeranged.
So, according to Huckabee, asking people to support you instead of someone else, really the essence of the whole effort, is low-life and sleazy. Of course, Huckabee has done just this for hes entire political career, and he’s certainly sleazy enough. If he used himself and not Ted Cruz as his example, he’d have a whole lot more credibility.
I’m thinking that if one “suspends” one’s campaign but continues taking pot shots from the peanut gallery as though one is still running so that others can bitch slap you back to reality, is grounds for justifiable homocide, especially in the case of Huckabee!
Huckabee, huh? The guy who had to hog the limelight in the Kim Davis case is accusing someone else of being selfish? That is RICH.
