The rockerâs latest vile campaign targets Jews, but it hurts Second Amendment supporters most
Mark Twain, who knew a thing or two about idiots, famously warned his readers not to argue with fools; do that, he quipped, and onlookers may not be able to tell the difference. So it's with much trepidation that I'm addressing Ted Nugent's latest outrage: having previously written a song that advocated handcuffing and raping underage girls, and having allegedly put his passion for prepubescence into practice by engaging in sexual conduct with a twelve-year-old--illegal, immoral, inconceivable to any conscientious human being--the degenerate rocker posted anti-Semitic drivel on his Facebook page earlier this week, accusing twelve prominent Jews of being "nazi gungrabbers" and overall traitors to the American project of life, liberty, and the pursuit of firearms.

Now, I love guns. I am a proud and enthusiastic member of the National Rifle Association. I believe every man, woman, and child--particularly those who happen to be Jewish--should be well-armed and well-trained. I am about as rigid an advocate of the Second Amendment as one can get, and I have no particular political love for the twelve officials and activists named by Nugent. And it's because I hold these views that I feel very comfortable saying that Ted Nugent isn't just a disgraceful human being (which is self-evident) and anti-Semitic scum (which should be obvious by his decision to refer to Michael Bloomberg as "the mayor of Jew York City" and an Israeli agent who helped orchestrate 9/11) but also a real shande to anyone seriously committed to the right to bear arms.
The liberal caricatures aside, most of us gun enthusiasts are reasonable, responsible people, and many of us see owning a firearm as both an expression and a protection of our liberty. The freedom we wish to defend is the freedom to live safely and with dignity without undue harassment. When a bigoted buffoon like Nugent makes his incendiary statements, he's not only embodying the vilest stereotypes used to marginalize pro-gun arguments but also undermining the very foundation of the pro-gun argument itself.
Nevermind. This is America. When hateful pricks like Nugent rise using poisonous propaganda, at least we'll be able to arm and defend ourselves.
The second amendment is in the constitution. No one person can change that reality. Nugent also has free speech. It is in the constitution. Although he makes himself look like an idiot, that is also his right.
Yes. Maybe the OP is feeling micro-aggressed?
Nope just looked at it again and nothing there offends me. What offends me is Doomberg Dictating what I can eat, what is available to me under our 2nd amendment rights and god knows what else he has in mind to CONTROL me! He gives all of us Jews a bad name and to call him Jew York City Mayor is mild compared to what I’d call him!
When you looked at it, how did you take ‘9/11 Israeli agent.’ I mean, it’s hard for me to come up with a reason anyone would call call Bloomberg that if they were pissed he wanted to ban guns in the US. It certainly attracted the types who think Jews did 9/11 to his facebook page, and the Nuge doesn’t seem to be calling them on their anti Jew/Israel mouthbreathing that I can see.
Freegards
My view is that here are a bunch of people who were nearly wiped off the face of the earth and here they want to disarm US, us Jews included and to what end? To wind up like 6 million of us jews before? Looking at the EU and it’s self inflicted suicide I stand by Ted before I stand my Jews like bloomberg and his ilk!
Not sure I know how ‘9/11 Israeli agent’ supposedly reflects those views.
Nugent has now said some pro-Israeli things on FB, haven’t seen if he has chased the conspiracy anti-Jew/Israel mouthbreathers off that were attracted to the original image he posted.
Freegards
And then followed up with this picture with the comment "Soulless sheep to slaughter. Not me."
Are the people in the first picture Ted posted anti-second A? Without searching all the names, I'd have to say, yes.
But then there are a lot of anti-second A people, celebrities and politicians and not all of them are Jews. So why did Ted think this picture with the flag of Israel over their pictures and the 9/11 and Zionist implications attached to it and the original source for the picture originating from various Neo-Nazi and anti-Jewish sites was in any way appropriate and then follow up with the 2nd picture what should have been a good defense but then calling Jewish victims of the Holocaust "soulless".
And there are many commenters who seem to be virulently anti-Semtitic and anti-Jew, anti-Israel, real StormFront types, posting on his FB and egging Ted on like this one:
You stupid Zionist f*cks don't get it, Jews in the US want Israel to remain Jewish and in possession of firearms, but do not want the same for Americans. Get it through your stupid Christian heads.
And
Zionist Jews are your deadliest enemy. Virtual wolves in sheep's clothing. Deep darkness cloaked in a false light. You will all be Palestinians soon if you don't wake up to this. America has been hijacked by these Zionist Jews and the vast majority of you don't even know it because they also own the media.
Or this one from none other than David Duke:
Ted Nugent was called anti-Semitic for saying that Jews lead the effort to take away our guns! If he is anti-Semitic so are all the Jewish organizations that boast of the fact that they lead the effort, including the ADL which called him an anti-Semite. If Jews have a problem with the truth then the truth is .. AntiSemitic!
But does Ted admonish them or criticize them? No. He attacks the people questioning what he meant and doubles down by saying:
Just when you hope that mankind couldnt possibly get any dumber or more dishonest, superFreaks rise to the occasion. What sort of racist prejudiced POS could possibly not know that Jews for guncontrol are nazis in disguise? "NEVER AGAIN!" Anyone? Anyone?? RUFKM! The founder of Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership called me his 2nd Amendment/Freedom hero. The NEVER AGAIN battlecry was universally embraced by all good people who will make sure another Holocaust never happens again. Freaks have plummeted to whole new low. Plummet on punks. Plummet on. Meanwhile I adjust my yamika at my barmitzva playing my kosher guitar. My dad killed nazis & saved Jews in WWII. Eat me.
He IMO comes off like an inarticulate, semi-illiterate rube with all the spelling and grammatical errors, does not make a very good case for himself.
Ted then attempts to back track a bit with this post:
https://www.facebook.com/tednugent/posts/10153477375332297
So I would give him that, however Ted then "liked" a post from this person and commented "no shit. pure evil":
https://thezog.wordpress.com/who-is-behind-gun-control/
A real hateful neo-Nazi, Jew Conspiracy, StormFront site.
Someone commented: "You just liked a neo-nazi's post. Can't do that AND claim not to be anti-Semitic. Make up your mind."
To which Ted posted: "I like foolish posts to further xpose dipshits. very effective proven strategy. The GOOD is only at its best when spotlighting the BAD & UGLY! got that?"
A rather ambiguous statement IMO. One doesn't "like" a FB post unless one likes or agrees with it. Ted has some splain' to do.
He’s out of line.
I’ll not trust him again; same as pat buchanen.
Sounds like a stupid thing for Nuge to do. Disappointed.
Statistically this is true, but I think there's a fundamental difference between radicals from Christian vs. Jewish backgrounds in the United States, as there is between radicals coming from majority vs. minority backgrounds in any society.
When someone from the majority culture becomes radicalized, he rebels against his own background and culture. A Leftist American coming from a Christian background has the mantra "WE [white Christian gun owners] are evil." In contrast, a Leftist from a Jewish or any other minority background has the mantra "THEY [white Christian gun owners are evil." It is this difference that people react to. You're more likely to be incensed by someone who says "You and only you are a jerk" than someone who says "I'm a jerk, and so are you!"
Of course, if we were talking about Israel, the same majority vs. minority radicalism would be at play, but with Jewish radicals rebelling against their own (majority Jewish) culture and Arab radicals opposing the Jewish majority.
Nugent's Facebook post asked, "So who is really behind gun control?", and his answer was a montage of photos of 12 Jews, each photo with an Israeli flag superimposed — the Stars of David clearly making the point that each one was Jewish (additional commentary on each person added to it).
So Nugent's message is that the answer to the question, "So who is really behind gun control?" is: the Jews.
In fact, many Jews are firmly against gun control. At the same time, most proponents of gun control are not Jewish.
Moreover, Jews aren't a cohesive group with specific beliefs in common. There are libertarian Jews, conservative Jews, liberal Jews, etc.
Nugent's anti-Semitic diatribe is not only reprehensible, but will be used to discredit the anti-gun-control position.
well said. great post.
Thank you :-)
what about Alan Gottlieb and his group?
>> There are libertarian Jews, conservative Jews, liberal Jews, etc. <<
Why is it you conservatives Jews demand to be included into the progressive Jews group in Nugents gun control photograph?
When I look at the photograph I do not think of it as an inclusive all sectors picture, I see a very limited, progessives only group.
Do you people have a victim trait that jumps out and says , “Me too, me too” whenever you see the word Jews in print?
It’s an anti-Semitic photo. No getting around it. Very bad taste. Very bad decision.
Agreed.
Then you must be a progressive.
Nope. A Christian.
