This might not make me “popular” but popularity has never been my goal.

If someone has “paid their penalty” for their crimes and they are deemed “safe” to release into the general population they should have all of their rights restored, including the right to vote and the right to own and carry firearms.

I can see withholding rights during a probationary period but not permanently.

If part of that penalty is a lifetime loss of voting rights and firearm possession, then they will have only paid that penalty when they’re dead. Anything else is a form of amnesty.

They should have considered the consequences before raping that woman.
