"I studied nearly every word the Texas senator uttered during the immigration showdown. He may be the most spectacular liar ever to run for president."
We know who Slate doesn’t like. You want the truth, listen to Sen. Sessions.
Whatever Slate says, the opposite is true. 100% of the time.
First they attack Trump. Then they attack Cruz.

Eh, I’m sure the article has merits, but a) it’s old and b) it’s from the seething liberals at Slate. I complain when Cruzers do this, so I’m duty and honor bound to complain now, too, even though I think Cruz is slimy.
We don’t need to turn to liberals to find reasons for or against our candidates.
What next? A Salon article? May be a HuffPost editorial on Cruz?
We know who Slate doesnât like. You want the truth, listen to Sen. Sessions. Neither does the Establishment!!!
Rush Limbaugh says that if your a conservative then you must rally around Ted Cruz!!! Ted Cruz’s rating from the Conservative Union is 97% Jeff Sessions is 80% Mike Lee is 100% voting record!!!
“I think Cruz is slimy”
Let me guess — you think Trump is just plain old honest businessman who simply wants to make America great again.
I know it was from Slate, but the writer claims to be republican. It’s long, but if you have time read it. It’s a good article on how the mind of a conniving lawyer works and that’s all I think Cruz is. Never seen a candidate that can lie as easily as he does and not bat an eye. A truly amazing gift.
Sorry I’m not pure enough for you. Good luck to your candidate.
A self described "liberal Republican", Saletan came out strongly against the re-election of George W. Bush. He described his disenchantment with the modern Republican Party in a series of dispatches from the 2004 Republican Convention.[2]
Saletan has written several articles about bioethics and sexual ethics, criticizing what he sees as homophobia within the Roman Catholic Church.[3]
"Buy me a drink first..."
I was paying close attention at the time. Cruz was and is correct.
But if I may be so bold, where was Trump on these issues?
Nob-Gobbler Op-Ed BUMP!
No shame.
Lol. You can’t take the high road after making an ad hominem.
Sure I can, I never insulted you. :)
The truth is what Cruz said in April of 2015 after his presidential campaign began and after the comprehensive immigration bill of 2013 was over and done with.
