Who wrote in the National Review on supporting John Roberts? Wouldn't have been Cruz would it?
Cruz wrote in support for John Roberts after he was nominated, just like many others who were respectful of the President’s choice. However, before George W. picked Roberts Senator Cruz was supporting Michael Luttig(sp.?). I remember hearing about Luttig before Roberts was selected and hoping he would be selected. He was one of the most, if not THE most, conservative choice. George W. went with the “safe pick” instead by picking Roberts.
