Iâm with you.
I worked on Wâs campaign and was on call to help with the recount before the Supremeâs called the count off.
By 2004, I felt duped by W. By the end of the W presidency, Bush had approved budgets which added an additional 5 trillion to the national debt. Then I became a Bush hater.

Bush did some good things, no doubt, but by 2004, as you aptly point out, he was more interested in making nice with the Dems, than defending his (OUR) conservative positions.
Every time GWB said “Compassionate Conservatism”, I wanted to slap the crap out of him!
No Child Left Behind has fueled the great “dumbing down” of the US public school system.
Kids perform bad, throw out the teachers and administrators.
The kids and their parents? Bear no responsibility.
And the Bushes want to keep importing 3rd world kids...they come in and they are illiterate in all languages!

Bush should have torn into everything Clintstone had done like the Tasmanian Devil. Had he done so, he might have discovered the problems in our intel bureaucracies.
He should definitely have had the Hildebeest indicted for the murder of Vince Foster, and her faux husband for the murders of Jerry Parks and Ron Brown, just for starters.
Above all, he should have destroyed the sodomite supremacist movement, at any cost.
