He is using the leftists argument— that Planned Parenthood does “good” things, outside of abortion. I don’t want to hear this argument from someone who is in the Republican Primary. Planned Parenthood is about abortion. All of the other “women’s health issues” as Trump says in his rallies, are covered in O-care. There is NO need for PP. NONE.
This just is stomach turning, and so are all the justifications for this horrible position. No thank you.
Yeah, other than encouraging and enabling the deaths of millions of unborns over the years and dealing in dead baby body parts, they're actually a pretty good organization. This guy is potentially very dangerous.

Trump knows the “shut it down” approach is a non-starter, but there’s plenty of support to cut off federal dollars for abortion.

Trumps idea of making America great again is in part funding Planned Parenthood, which means funding abortion despite the twisted logic I’ve seen on this thread.

Those of you who are die-hard Trump supporters need to realize one thing. If you do not DEMAND that Trump earn your support and loyalty by an unwavering commitment to conservatism, he will seek to please everyone by moving left. And he has already shown signs he is willing to do that. So, ask yourself, is there anything Trump can do or say at this point that would make you withdraw your support and look for option 2.
Explain to me then where you even hinted disapproval of Trump not wanting to cut back t all on entitlements. Instead, you went after the numbers, as if the amount of the entitlements, whatever they actually are, isn’t huge and burdensome. Not to mention damaging for society. Keeping people dependent on government, etc.

Trump is 69 years old. He knows what he believes by now. He has no ulterior reason to lie as he is mega wealthy and does not need to seek political office to feed his family as most of the others do. I see no indication Trump will do anything other than exactly what he says he will do.
Time to begin to accept Trump as the GOP nominee and coalesce behind him and get him into the Whitehouse.

That time will come when the nomination is made. Until then I will support the most conservative candidate: Cruz.
Cruz is the only conservative who can possibly beat Trump. He can also win the general.
If he does not win the nomination, the number of electoral votes he earns must send a strong message to Trump and / or the GOPe that conservatives are not open to a middle-of-the-road, reach-across-the-aisle moderate candidate. It could earn Cruz the VP spot. At least it will force either Trump or the brokered convention candidate to stay to the right.
Trump needs Cruz supporters to win the general. If Trump gets the nomination, he will have to earn my support. He had the opportunity to convince to me earlier, but he did not convince me he is better than Cruz.
I think Trump has this going for him. He is someone who has proven his ability to get things done. He just needs to prove he will get the RIGHT things done.
Cruz remains my first choice, and whom I will vote for in Texas. We have 38 electoral votes — more than state other than California. The good thing about the Hillary-Bernie fight is that fewer Dems cross over in the primaries to vote for the least conservative Republican. That may make this primary even more interesting.
I didn’t go after Trump, genius. I wanted to know something about the group that you were citing as authoritative.
You're not too bright, are you. My point was that you were *not* criticizing Trump for his unwillingness to touch entitlements. That you were OK with him leaving them as they are.
I’d say brighter than you, but then that’s a very low threshold.
I think Trump will not let us down. He will do as much of what he is promising as he is able to.
