Interesting. At least they did not proclaim there is no evidence of terrorist involvement instantly.

“I thought heart attacks were essentially preventable with screenings and care that anyone with money could afford. “

Nope.

A good friend died of a sudden heart attack at work just 2 days after he had a complete physical.

He was 45.

“But a 79 yr old chubby smoker keeling over isn’t that hard to believe either.”

My father-in-law was a chubby Italian American ex-smoker, drinker, and he made it clear until the age of 61.

Scalia was lucky to make 79, if in fact he smoked, etc.

Radioactive cesium attacks the heart. We will see much more of this with WWIII breaking out. You need to work out. Excercise that heart muscle.

To check out while or after doing something you enjoy is probably the best way ever-likely that person arrives in the next world happy, and not prone to return to haunt people...

He would have been in big trouble if he had my Dr previously. He would have been scheduled to come in every two weeks to WEIGH, blood cholesterol levels every few months, diets, exercise plans, phone calls, emails etc.

Some Drs. really try to keep you alive. When I look around I wonder who some folks have for Dr.

I do not see how this can be resolved without autopsy. Yes, he did not take proper care of himself, but there are far too many political facets to not investigate thoroughly.

Rest in Peace, great man.

But seriously. He is so remote they can’t find any officials, and there is some law in TX that you don’t need to see the body to pronounce someone dead, and there will be no autopsy because clearly the man died of a heart attack (again, no investigation or autopsy, and no media report of any doctor on scene at all ever) in his sleep and clearly with only the hotel clerk in the room, there could never have been any foul play.

Hillary Clinton can aid and abet murderers, put top secret information out into the interwebs, and share everything she knows with a double duty Muslim brotherhood member, and still be a front running candidate for President.

Jeb Bush can run cocaine for his dad and enjoy a lot of it himself, and can also be a mainstream candidate for President.

Our President is not eligible to be President on paper, and his closest confidant is an Iranian spy.

But there is no way there could be foul play in the death of a Supreme Court Justice at a rural ranch with no officials doing any sort of an investigation.

Judging by current photos of Scalia, he seems to have been packing a pretty hefty weight. Travel for vacation, different elevation, change in activity, age factor. A heart attack is totally believable.

He appears to have packed on the pounds in recent years.

And getting up there in years, well, it’s not surprising in retrospect he suffered a heart attack.

He lived to a ripe old age.

Just read a WaPo article stating that he was being embalmed, NO autopsy.

Especially convenient on the heels of putting away those pesky constitution defenders for life last week and going after 84 more Americans who were at the Bundy ranch in 2014 for federal conspiracy.

Russia looks better everyday.

That article is scary and deserves its own thread. It sounds like a perfect situation where natural causes or murder could have happened and no one will ever even look at the body medically. An outstanding conservative icon on the Supreme Court dies during a Senate adjournment surrounded by agents of the Obama Regime and no one will order an inquest and cause of death is pronounced based on a phone call with a Marshals Service representative. OTOH, he was seventy nine and overweight. Alex Jones, call your office.

I don’t think the ass**** in chief will get his way-in the current political atmosphere, it would pretty much mean war with we the people, never mind that he would totally trash any chance his party has of getting a candidate elected as dogcatcher...

One of my good friends who was a firefighter died suddenly at 62-no history of anything-he fought fires, jogged, played handball, kept a healthy weight. His heart just stopped after he got home from work and was changing clothes.

A lot of people do not fuss over everything-enjoying the life God gave them is more important to them. I’m one of those people, but I believe everyone has the right to live as they choose. I choose to do a physical job, not eat processed food, not run to docs unless injured, not take any drugs-even over the counter-use natural remedies and stay below my ideal weight-my individual choice, and I don’t press it on others.

Justice Scalia looked to have gained an obvious amount of weight the last few years-personal choice, but I think everyone from the beginning of time knows that is a bit unhealthy...

Yeah, eat a large high fat meal(which raises inflammatory factors), which spikes the heart rate, which then finally ruptures a vulnerable plaque, which then forms a thrombus and occlusion of one or more coronary arteries. Most lay people are not aware of the etiology of a heart attack and don’t take aggressive enough action to save themselves.

Also, it’s not a bad idea for people of Scalia’s age to take a baby aspirin per day to thin the blood a bit and prevent clotting, in the event of a plague rupture.
