Obviously 9/11/2001 is a date that happened when Bush was President but Trump meant it to try and associate Bush with not keeping Americans safe do you agree with that? Do you seriously agree that George W. Bush did not keep America safe post 9/11 which was caused by Clintons refusal to act against Terrorism.... This history is already litigated on September 12th 2001 George W. Bush was at over 90 percent approval rating.... Was Trump some outlier than? I don’t get why Conservatives would allow some STRANGER like Trump to bash George W. Bush and get away with it....

Today it’s a united msm push to topple Trump. Can’t find a station, a paper, nothing that doesn’t say he’s finished. They’re also touting a -21 pt drop for Gingrich in 2012. Haven’t had time to look that up.

Bush Warned Before Sept. 11 of Bin Laden Plot to Hijack Planes

The White House acknowledged Wednesday night that U.S. intelligence agents warned President Bush a month before Sept. 11 that Usama bin Laden’s terror network might hijack American planes, but officials said the president had no way of knowing that they would use the planes as missiles for suicide attacks on American landmarks.
“There has been long-standing speculation, shared with the president, about the potential of hijackings in the traditional sense,” White House press secretary Ari Fleischer said. “We had general threats involving Usama bin Laden around the world and including in the United States.”
He said the administration, acting on the information received in early August, notified the “appropriate agencies” that hijackings “in the traditional sense” were possible. The warning was never made public, he said. ...

The Associated Press reported earlier this month that FBI headquarters did not act on a memo last July from its Arizona office warning there were a large number of Arabs seeking pilot, security and airport operations training at at least one U.S. flight school and which urged a check of all flight schools to identify more possible Middle Eastern students.
A section of that classified memo also makes a passing reference to bin Laden, speculating that Al Qaeda and other such groups could organize such flight training, officials said. The officials said, however, that the memo offered no evidence bin Laden was behind the students that raised the concern.
Sen. Bob Graham, D-Fla., the Senate Intelligence Committee chairman, said through a spokesman Wednesday that the revelations in the memos marked an important discovery in Congress’ investigation into why the FBI, CIA and other U.S. agencies failed to learn of and prevent the Sept. 11 plot.
“It represents a failure to connect the dots,” Graham spokesman Paul Anderson said. “This was dismissed rather lightly at FBI headquarters.” ...
Newt talked about putting the courts in their constitutional place back a few years ago. IRRC, he said a POTUS, maybe Andrew Jackson had a problem with one of the U.S. District Courts, and he pronounced it vacated. Suddenly the rogue judges no longer had a job.
That made EVERYBODY straighten up and fly right.....for a while. Newt gave this example as a way to curtail these judges legislating from the bench. Of course, it requires a POTUS with cohones and a spine to DO that. Personally, I hope Newt whispers some of this stuff in Trump’s ear.

one newbie FBI agent sent to the flight school would have found out the young Muslims wanting to learn to fly didn’t care about learning to land the planes.. that would have uncovered the whole 911 plot.. but nobody inquired.. that’s what Trump is saying about not keeping us safe

I am a long time Tea Party Republican Conservative, who actually ran for office in WV (State Senate). I like Donald Trump because we don't need another lying lawyer in the White House. We need someone with actual experience at building not only a business, but actual buildings. He has been honest about who he is, and allows us to see what we can expect.
I know plenty of lawyers. They go for the money. They will take the side of the money. They will represent the money. Ted Cruz is just another lawyer, no matter what else. But, he is also a proven liar, and as Donald Trump says, "a truly nasty guy"!

Like Donald Trump did at last nights debate the Left attempted to undermine GWB Presidency after 911 they started saying that he MADE IT HAPPEN ON PURPOSE (MIHOP) or LET IT HAPPEN ON PURPOSE (LIHOP) and the Truther movement was born I am sure Donald Trump was a staunch Liberal Truther.... That attach on GWB at last nights debate should have been met by a resounding condemnation from every single Conservative on this board whether or not you like the man for his vitriolic comments or not it was beyond the pale to suggest that GWB did not keep us safe.... Obama most certainly has not kept us safe and he should have stuck with that line of attack.... Trump showed his true colors vote for him at your own peril

But, I voted for Bush both times. I held my nose. He was so popular after 9/11 because he kept reading a story book, before responding. That is all right with me, in the situation, but I have many other problems with him.
He is a globalist. He is a big spender. Under his administration, the Fedrool Gum't grew more than any time previously, and has only been exceeded by Nobama.
Thanks to GWB, we have the "Homeland Insecurity Department, which is one of the worst of the worst. Do you feel safer when you remove your shoes at the airport, or when you see a little girl molested by one of their pediphiles? I doubt it.
Bush was an establishment Republican, not a saint. I much prefer a pragmatist. Donald Trump has warts. He also has a brilliant mind, and a heart for America. If you bothered to listen to him, you would see that. When I watch Preacher Ted, I get the "creeps" and know that I don't trust him. He may be a good lawyer, but Teddy Bare is a smarmy person, imho.
George Bush made it possible. He was CIC. Enuff said! The walls came tumbling down!
