Are you holding Americans for ignorant? If you had said many Americans could not name a single judge who are on the Supreme Court, I would have to agree. Many don't even know who their senators are and these people vote.
I think so too.
And trump.
4 RINOs joined the rats and they were: Collins of ME, Graham, SC, Lugar, IN and Snowe of ME
Nelson of NE was the only dem who joined the republicans who joinded the Republicans. These are the facts.
forgetting, not fortetting. Arrgh
GOPe folks are having their rear ends handed to them by a few âoutsidersâ, they KNOW the outsiders NOW are in the driverâs seat. There's only one outsider handing their rear ends to them.
“The ârats have been calling the Republicans the âparty of noâ for 7 years. Hopefully, they will live up to that moniker on this topic.”
The party of “no to slavery” at its inception.
Better question is which Scalia like justice would actually rule Scalia like?
Republicans have an uncanny ability to pick conservative justices that lose their mind after being seated.
I didn't even think about it (I knew I could easily google, but didn't care) and blew that part off. The main point was to disparage that Kagan mind of hers. (rofl). You did good Kaslin by spotting that in the weeds, good eye my friend.
Thanks, but the only thing that I googled or rather binged, since I refuse to use google was US Senate votes for 2010 and then scrolled down to August 5 and there it was. :)
Who is the guy in your pic #23? Is he a hollywood actor? Funny
Yes, most Americans. Ignorant doesn’t equate to stupid and it isn’t an insult, it’s a quantifiable observation - something that Trump fans should appreciate, since they seem to value “straight talk” and eschew political correctness.
According to a recent Gallup poll, 32% of Americans have never heard of Scalia. I wonder how many of the remaining 68% only heard of him because he just died.
Ignorance is a result of decades of a public education system controlled by the federal government, not stupidity, and it’s easily quantifiable. Look at the results of academic assessments and how America compares to other developed nations in terms of academic proficiency in basic subjects.
I would submit that, in terms of basic knowledge of our system of government and our constitution, Americans in general fare even worse. Sanders supporters, for example, can’t seem to define socialism beyond “free stuff”. The average American thinks the Federal Reserve Bank is part of our government (which it isn’t), but can’t cite which branch. Many Americans can’t even cite the three basic branches of government and most don’t know that Articles I, II and III of the Constitution define the roles of, and limitations on, the three branches.
