Source code repository. Basically you send your code there and they keep track of the versions. The free version of github is good enough for many open source projects and git command is pretty easy to use (the git command is to check in code, check out code, etc). I think github extends their services to businesses and makes some money off of that.
There is plenty of competition in both free and paid repos, but free github was and still is very popular so they are leveraging that popularity.

I found the Chinese to be very well educated and motivated. They are not slackers when it comes to education. They also have a strong entrepreneurial spirit most Americans, not all, have lost.

I found the Chinese to be very well educated and motivated. They are not slackers when it comes to education. They also have a strong entrepreneurial spirit most Americans, not all, have lost. Exactly my point. In the technical fields they will eat our lunch if we don't quit worrying about stupid social justice warriorism instead of producing product and output.
China is leaving communism and moving towards capitalism. They have had generations of pent up capability that is going to be unleashed.
