Don’t worry, Trump will never pick Pryor. He’s more of an Alan Grayson kinda guy.

Trump isn’t a conservative so why would we expect him to pick conservative justices?

Basic question for any perspective justice.

From where do our rights emanate?

Horrible pick. How come no one has called Trump on this?

I still like Trump over Rubio, but it is back to the drawing board time.

Surprised Cruz has not capitalized on this

Remember that Moore’s appeal was dismissed by SCOTUS without dissent.

The issue at hand for Pryor was not the display, but the judge’s actions in the face of a final ruling, all appeals, including two to the SCt, having been exhausted.

Pryor is a very solid judicial conservative, and his position on Moore was 100% correct from that perspective.

Obama’s pick is the one you want to be concerned with.

It’s hilarious on the other thread.

Strumpettes are defending Trump by saying he didn’t know what he’s talking about.

That’s an actual defense.

This is the most idiotic attack against a conservative, anti-Roe judge imaginable:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_H._Pryor,_Jr.

Pryor also received national attention in 2003 when he called for the removal of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, who had disobeyed a federal court order to remove a Ten Commandments monument from the Alabama Judicial Building. Pryor said that although he agreed with the propriety of displaying the Ten Commandments in a courthouse, he was bound to follow the court order and uphold the rule of law. Pryor personally prosecuted Moore for violations of the Canons of Judicial Ethics, and the Alabama Court of the Judiciary unanimously removed Moore from office.

Despite the fact that the 108th United States Congress was controlled by the Republican Party, Senate Democrats refused to allow Pryor to be confirmed, criticizing him as an extremist, citing statements he had made such as referring to the Supreme Court as "nine octogenarian lawyers" and saying that Roe v. Wade was the "worst abomination in the history of constitutional law.

Seems like the nude pic of Pryor in the homosexual porn magazine might make him a no go.

You Cruz or nobody folks are without question the least likable people in the history of this forum

And for what?

Bill Pryor is a good man.....Roy Moore is too but Roy likes camera time

Sometimes camera time collides with higher court rulings Pryor has to live with

George W appointed Pryor

Is this a Cruz or no one crowd day to support George Bush or not support George Bush?

Should Cruz get lucky I’ll be thrilled to support him

But you guys are gonna do what?

Sit home?

Start another website?

Both?

I think Trumps biggest crowd yet was at Ladd in the fall....Mobile

I pinged two locals from there to see how they are on Pryor

Trump supporters are already defending him by saying “it means nothing. He’s not a politician - he’s just throwing names out”.

Bill Pryor wanted to shame Roy Moore for his religious beliefs... Here is one section of him attempting to do so and Roy Moore standing firm. Litmus test, what litmus test? You decide.
