“One Sunday, I visited an evangelical church and knew I was finally home. Months later, I was baptized and truly born again!”
Gingrich says she’s “truly born again”, but she isn’t, unless she skipped mentioning the only thing that matters, i.e., accepting Christ as her Savior. Baptism does not make a person “born again”. It’s a profession to the world of a prior decision.
So I’m calling BS on this. She needs to get saved and then preach to us.
I’d give her the benefit of the doubt. She probably wrote too fast and incorrectly. There aren’t a lot of people who think the act of baptism makes you saved.
I don’t get this “born again” nonsense. I was baptized a Roman Catholic when I was a week old. I received my first communion when I was 9 years old and was confirmed two years later and yes Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.
