Sessions: Rubio’s Recollection of Gang of Eight Isn’t What I Remember
Breitbart ^ | 15 February, 2016 | Breitbart TV

Posted on 02/15/2016 10:44:48 PM PST by JSDude1

On Monday’s “Mark Levin Show,” Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)

80%

disputed Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)

79%

’s (R-FL) claims regarding the passage battle of the 2013 Gang of Eight immigration bill.

After he was asked about the Gang of Eight bill, Sessions said that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)

97%

, along with him and others, opposed the bill, and offered amendments to try and kill the bill. He added that Cruz was effective in lobbying members of the House against the bill.

Sessions further stated that he doesn’t remember Rubio’s recollection that the House was going to improve the Gang of Eight bill, and that he voiced criticisms of the bill’s inability to pass the House. Sessions said that he didn’t think there would be much change of the bill in the House and that it was on the verge of passage in the House and was “very worried” that the bill would pass because it had “real momentum.” And the Gang of Eight had a campaign like a presidential campaign to pass the bill. He further added that the Gang of Eight resisted changes to the bill in the Senate.

I'd say it's Rubio with the Character problem, not Cruz, not Trump according to Sessions.

Yet many here claim Cruz was lying about this...

Will they change their tune, not likely. They don’t care much about the actual truth.

It’s entirely possible that others might have been working to kill the bill, and Cruz went along with that, but his agenda was to get the H1B visas into it.

“Sessions hasn’t endorsed anyone for president, right?”

Mark pushed Sessions pretty hard on who he liked for President! Sessions did not really come out and say it but he likes more things about Trump than Cruz!

The fact he won't endorse Trump is pretty telling!

The FACT that Sessions sent his closest, trusted colleague to work alongside Trump developing policy against illegal immigration is VERY TELLING

I thought they were all pushing some kind of "touchback" provision, which was part of my problem with both Trump and Cruz. That Cruz won't come out and say it, nor Trump either, that the 11,000,000 are staying, and will eventually wind up voting Democratica.

Did I get it wrong?

I think this is our last chance to push these guys to adopt "self-deporting" by drying up the employment of illegals at arbitraged (depressed) wages.

Did you just read what Sessions said? HUH, did you?

You Trumpanzees have your heads so far in the trees that I think Trump is right. He could shoot people on main street and you would still vote for him.

Unbelievable. Now I know exactly what the supporters of Obama in 2008 and 2012 resembled. You people are insane, completely and totally insane.
