He’s not afraid to talk to anyone, he doesn’t have handlers parsing out his words, and he doesn’t read from a prompter.

Just the fact that he will go into a hostile environment and try to win people over by... get this... BEING HIMSELF! anyone who can do that scores big points with me.

Trump is a successful celebrity and brings in supporters who are not normally interested in politics.

He could be President Kardashian.

That was good only because Trump is a natural leader and seems to be at ease in every situation. That’s the first time I have ever watched anything of Colbert since he was on Stewart’s show years ago. Quit watching The Daily show in 2001 when it became obvious he knew the stupid 18-30 something age group watching couldn’t differentiate fact from the so called comedy fiction he put out there. He was like a little comedy propagandist.

I have to laugh at the faux outrage over his occasional use of a ‘bad’ word. Surely people above the Mason Dixon line can’t be THAT offended since the F word seems to be used as nouns, verbs, adjectives ect. On the other hand it’s hilarious to see people below the Mason Dixon line act like they have virgin ears and need their fainting couch if a bad word is uttered.

By the way, I got a chuckle over your tag line. Head em off at the pass..LOL. How many times so far have you gotten the picture of the kid needing dental surgery that looks like he played the banjo in deliverance? Haahaaahaaa.....

I find it particularly amusing on some of the other political websites I follow where every other post is a testament to filthy language, that all of the sudden when Trump used some foul words, they became Puritans who were insulted to the very core, almost to the point of needing therapy.

So far, this website has been pretty clean, I haven’t seen 1/1000th the nasty language that I’ve seen on others, so I just thought it came with the territory (but again, I’m new here).

As far as the noob picture:

So far, just once! Am I behind the curve?

This is a good site. Most of the time people get along pretty well and are mostly in agreement. It gets a bit contentious during the lead up to the general elections. It’s pretty much a one stop shopping for staying informed on the political world and world events in general. I don’t think anything gets past the Freepers. There’s a lot of talented people here when it comes to photo shopping that gives me a good laugh everyday.

If you’ve only gotten the noob pic once, I’m impressed! Keep up the good work.
