On his radio show on both Monday and Tuesday of this week, Rush stated that George W. Bush is “revered.”
Uh huh. He lost me in 2006 with that “See you at the signing” crap regarding amnesty, and “Islam is a religion of peace” nonsense.

Rush always has been a Bush Republican despite all of his invocations of Ronald Reagan’s name. He even didn’t bother to register to vote in ‘80 and ‘84.
His radio show started with the beginning of GHW Bush’s Presidency. The Bush’s invited him to the White House. His criticisms of Bush Republicanism were mild at best. He wouldn’t even take calls on immigration when we were fighting the amnesty wars against Dubya.
