I read hysterics is so many of the political thread comments regarding Cruz and Trump lately I proffer these explanations
1. Cruz fans have wrapped their religious faith around Rafael Edward Cruz to the extent they are becoming unhinged. Heidi's threatened meltdown in a plea for money in that infamous email was Exhibit A.
2. I've seen a similar Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) among Democrats; he terrifies them, that he could sweep away their political world with all its firewalls is scary to them.
3. Trump is rhetorically over the top. I think he does it naturally to emphasize his key points. I will judge him, should he win, by his performance in office.
4. I was originally for Cruz and switched to Trump. I do not think Cruz could unite Republican voters or bring in habitual nonvoters; if Evangelicals did not care to vote against Obama before ... having to preach to them to vote is going to turn off more voters than it catches. Pentecostal Dominionism is a losing platform.
5. And who retires at 45 ? Get back to work at a second career or volunteer lest the talents given are taken away.
