It would be pretty humorous if SlowJoe winds up being the Dem nominee without spending a nickle to get there. And I suspect he’d be a stronger candidate in Nov than either Hillary or Burney.

“1. Trump is the only candidate I will vote for
2. Cruz is the only candidate I will vote for
3. I will gladly (or resignedly) vote for either
4. I will vote for neither.

I am currently in group 3.”

I am also in group 3, and I don’t understand how anyone on this board could be in groups 1 or 2 if Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders is the opponent.

Trump, Cruz, Sanders and Clinton

And maybe Bloomberg.

I could see some paleos voting for Sanders over Cruz if they really strongly believed that trade and/or sticking it to the banks was the most important issue.

But that's a really tiny demographic.

Any chance that one of these four clerked for a Conservative SCOTUS justice?

If we could only find one of those four where that is the case, in light of the Scalia loss, that candidate would have my support.

What makes you think that we think that?

I think that most people here realize that America is in grave danger and that in the end, the piper’s price will be very dear indeed.

From my perspective, we’re in the midst of a war that has been waged on America for generations. Spiritual, socialist, whatever, in the end it all boils down to eventual suffering and misery. Each successive generation has been dumbed down and conditioned to be more subservient and dependent than the last.

The WWII generation is nearly gone.

The Boomers, well, I’ll be nice and just say that if they’re lucky, they’ll be gone before it gets really bad.

Gen X will probably be in the thick of things, eventually. As an early X’er, (1967), I don’t see the US getting to 2037 without some sort of serious trauma, much less 2047.

The millenials are hosed, and they know it. Unless things are turned around, big time, they will most likely experience the full brunt of socialism, slavery, sharia and genocide.

If one wants to get biblical, you need only look at the latter years of the nations of Israel and Judah. Occasionally there were “good kings” and often bad, and things got worse, until finally the Babylonians came and conquered them.

There are those who wish the same fate for America. We get to “choose” our “kings”, but if we fail to choose good ones, how can we expect our fate to be any different in the end?

Cruz is the only choice for any principled conservative there.

I fear there aren't enough of those remaining out there in the voting pool. Trump is the best we can hope for.

It would be interesting if the superdelegates coordinated their votes at the convention so that Hillary and Sanders were tied. That way they could sneak Joe in as a consensus candidate.

Some would say that he would lose big time having not campaigned, but if his slogan were "Four More Years of the Obama Administration" then he might squeak out a victory from the rainbow and pajama boy coalition.

Honestly do not now.

All you have to do is search “Clintons third way” and you will find this campaigns basic premise was planned out by the Clintons at least as far back as 1998-99.

Four way race with “extreme left commie” Sanders and “moderate” Hillary on the dem side and “moderate” Trump and “extreme right” Cruz on the repub side.

Hillary the “moderate” will work with repubs and Trump the “moderate” will work with dems.

Extreme left and extreme right are forced out with the “Third Way” moderates in the middle willing to work with the other side running against each other.

When it comes to the Clintons nothing is by coincidence.

Trump gets moderate “third way” Hillary elected president just as has been planned for at least 17-18 years.

In that case they'd draft the Fake Indian. She is their ideal candidate. She combines the bank-smacking Euro-Socialism of Bernie with a vagina.

I missed one position:

5. I am a troll pretending to be a supporter of Trump and/or Cruz just to get my yaya's or to try and breed dissension among the conservative faithful.

I strongly believe Cruz is a gift, the best candidate to come along since Reagan and you people shoot him down.

Talk about screwing ourselves...

I think we’ve lost all control of our elections. I think they are completely rigged. The golfer knew he would win both times. He wasn’t the least bit concerned. I truly believe all their cogs are in place and we have no way of changing any of it back. Sorry. He grins wider than a cheshire cat.

Clinton’s dead. She won’t survive the public’s reaction after the FBI finishes the investigation. Her campaign has no defined message other than me too.

The barking dog antic will go down in history as the high point in her campaign.

The only question now is what will the party do to sideline the commie?

They may supplant Cruz at #2, if the other RINOs drop out.

Well, if there is one thing the GOPe excels at it is finishing #2. :)

All he wants to do is collect a huge take in POTUS pardons and live like a potentate for the next 40 years

He wants, and/or his handlers want him, to be Secretary-General of the United Nations. I would expect that he is in the process of getting all his chits lined up now.
