I can see this happening in extraordinary circumstances...On an individual basis...However those circumstances must be approved for each case not by a judge nor an ABC agency...Perhaps by Congress as a whole...

If the FBI wants to crack the phone, hire someone to crack the phone. It’s an undue burden placed upon a company to reduce the security of their devices. The FBI should get off their lazy asses and do some human intelligence (HUMINT). These keyboard cops are inept.
