I know what you are saying, but it is the FBI’s responsibility to break into the phone. They need to get busy and do it. It is not a companies responsibilty to spend money to make their job easier.
Example...if the FBI believes a gun has been disposed in a landfill, is it the landfill owners responsibility to purchase a sifter for the FBI to go through the garbage?
I agree with you on this.
But, it might be fun to see Apple tell the FBI that they will do what I posted earlier and inform them the fee would be $1 billion, paid in advance. ;>)
