Bush knew the dangers of muslims, Why did he not ban muslims from entering the united states like trump wants to do? Why did he not deport muslims like trump wants to ?

No, but that’s the point. A lot of people say and I think correctly that “they” lied - the government, the Bush administration. That is different than saying the “President lied.” You can call that semantics but it’s really not. So when people accuse Trump of saying Bush lied, unless they can produce where he actually said that, then that is a misrepresentation IMO. And if we dug down, we’d find that these reports of WMD’s as the rationale for the invasion came from some source connected with the government.

Well there you go. I know you don’t see it this way, but I distinguish between Trump the businessman and Trump eight years later as the candidate. I think now he would be more careful, even though I think by strong inference, Bush did lie - he just didn’t expressly lie.
