I’m sure the entire Scalia family is very proud of Father Paul. The service as a whole was quite moving and well illustrates the magisterium and mysterium of the Roman Catholic Church. Thanks to Fox for broadcasting the entire service without interruption. For Christians who want to be “all-in” on religion, it makes sense to me that seekers such as Laura Ingraham and Kirsten Powers have turned to Catholicism in recent years. Such a grand ceremony also reminded me of how comforting two millenia of Church tradition can be in a world that too often seems to be without ultimate meaning, purpose, or direction.
