COLUMBIA. S.C. – Authorities are responding to an active shooter situation reported at a mall in Coumbia, S.C.
WIS reported that Richland County deputies responded to a report of shots fired at Columbiana Center Mall in Harbison sometime before 7 p.m. Saturday.

Thank you. I still, despite this primary season, believe that most (not all) of us are good people. Having read this site since 1996 or so, I have seen flame wars, some so bad I had to walk away to handle it. This year is out of control. It is.

Why did the mall allow guns there?
Without specifics, it's empty words and having a mass movement hang on every word as a gospel is a bit dangerous.
I’ve seen them both. there comes a time when you can’t stand back without retaliation. That “P” word comes to mind......
I’ve been through two Presidential primaries here as a Freeper and lurked through two before that. It’s not some new novelty, that people get carried away and start taking it personally, and making it personal. You’ve been here a while, too, so you should know that as well. Getting all fire and brimstone about name-calling on a web forum is a little over the top, don’t you think? Your guys gave as good as they got.
I have already said I would hold my nose and vote for Trump, if that became the only option. I had hoped, in the far distant past that Trump and Cruz would somehow team up after this was over, but with all that both have done and said, I doubt that will happen. I am less confident now than ever that Hildebeast can be defeated....if she survives the race. To me, the future looks darker. Survivable, but darker.
I don’t rule out some sort of comportment between Trump and Cruz still. They have some common ground. They both are fighters, things get rough in the thick of it all. Trump seems capable of letting go of a grudge, there will come a day when he even lets up on Megyn Kelly, lol. Cruz on the SC is a better fit than Cruz as VP, imho, assuming Trump does win the nomination. It’s far from a done deal that he will, a lot of machinations can occur at the convention and the power brokers really, really don’t want him. Don’t really want Cruz, either.

I ruled out ever moving to SC decades ago. When a mall owner can designate the mall a gun free zone its over. Victim zones in most malls and churches in SC.
