"If Ted Cruz doesn't pull off major wins on ST, he'll probably have to drop out."

Cruz may well drop out before ST. Depends on what combination of carrots and sticks the GOPe uses to encourage him to do so.

There will be true believers who will stick with him to the end.

Next week is do or die time for Cruz and Rubio.

Either they got game or they might as well go home.

Not enough ad money for the SEC, and not enough ground game money to cover a dozen states.

And far less coming in than they are now spending.

He blew his wad in SC and came in a disappointing 3rd.

Cruz supporters better start sending in those C notes.

...all but Cruz's true believers are now skeptical of all of his convoluted explanations for stuff he's supported.

Ted blew it with his vote for TPA and his subsequent 'explanation' for it. Then, there was his so-called 'poison pill' amendment that he offered to the Gang of 8 amnesty bill. He had to esplain that away, too.

Too many explanations from Ted made my bs meter ping to the red zone. I'm old enough to know when I'm being bamboozled by a slickster.

Regardless this is the also-rans last chance to derail Trump.

If I was a betting man, I’d say the odds are good it won’t happen.

Yeah, and even after his miserable failure in South Carolina, they're still puffing their chests out.

Denial is amazing to watch in real time.

Ted looks like he could use a fast. He must be eating to relieve the stress of the campaign.

You'll have a hard time finding somebody to take that bet, even in Texas.

So am I. There's something about Cruz that gives it away. And once you see it, everything about him adds to that impression.

Be careful what you wish for. If Cruz gets taken out it where do you think his support will go? For me I will tilt to Trump, but I think many will go to Rubio. Cruz and Trump need to focus all of their fire on Rubio. Donald jumped the gun on going after Cruz. I get why he did it, but the GOPe is not going away quietly.

That was side-splitting funny. I’m glad I didn’t have food or drink in my mouth when reading it. LOL

Well lets just say we haven’t seen a document with HIS name on it demonstrating birth US citizenship.

Ted's got the NBC question hanging over his head. Unless that's resolved by no less than the Supreme Court, he's getting nowhere close to the Oval Office. Not even as VP, who must also be eligible.

That is my belief as well and the same for rubio. How the heck are these guys even in this race without having that resolved. It shows a complete lack of respect for voters to run for office without having this resolved.

I’ve been calling them “fasting ferrets”. Cruz can only blame himself for some serious missteps. Beck is one of the big missteps.

A pox on both Trump and Rubio as far as I am concerned, they’ve both burned enough bridges with the Cruz campaign, and some of their most ardent supporters on here don’t help their cause in convincing Cruz supporters like me, if Cruz doesn’t make it!!!!

“Hey, his wife knows a lot of big bankers who will make some personal loans.”

I think we are about to see that ‘man of the people’ veneer start to peel. He is an establishment false front, IMO. The money will come in to keep him around as vote sink. Santorum Mk. II.

They’ll train their fire on each other than work together to take out Trump.

Which suits Trump just fine.
