Just more big government solutions. “the government’s gonna pay for it” - Trump 2015... That line is straight from the left. The “government” doesn’t pay for anything but the left thinks so.
A new flavor of big government isn’t going to fix anything.
The answer is getting the federal government out of health care. I fail to see where that was enumerated in the constitution as being within the bounds of the federal governments authority.
He was specifically asked about the diligent when he responded that the government is going to take care of it, and he was specifically asked about the requirement for insurance companies to cover those with pre-existing conditions when he said he liked the mandate.
The press, opponents, and too many Freepers twist those responses to mmisrepresent his positions.
