One Bush bundler told CNN's Dana Bash that when it came to Murphy, "strong knives are out."
"He made minimum of $14 million," the bundler said, requesting anonymity to speak freely about campaign strategy.
The details of Murphy's compensation package at Right to Rise are not publicly known.

Not a bad take for abject failure. Par for the course from the career politicos of the GOP.
Witness the modern Republican Party. A bunch of weak, dopey, wishy-washy candidates like Jeb with big rolodexes full of donors being preyed upon by mercenary, unprincipled consultants like Murphy whose only goal is to make money.
these are the douchebags that have been losing campaigns for years for their profit
This is the story of US Government and the elites of both parties, in a nutshell.
Spend other peoples’ money like crazy on your arrogant schemes, without a care about any responsibility or success, and when you inevitably fail, walk away rich.
This guy is perfect. His candidate gets creamed and he runs the table for 14 mil. He would make great congressmen. The country gets screwed and he laughs all the way to the bank.
We are all in the wrong business.
Marco Rubio allies race to court Jeb Bush donors
Fredreka Schouten, USA TODAY 11:51 p.m. EST February 20, 2016
I’m already an idiot practically for free. I’m in the wrong business.
And shame on Bush for hiring this loser. His track record should have been enough for Bush to look else where. Just as Trumps track record has me looking else where.
Bush learned the hard way with other peoples money, which is no harm to him.
We’re living in a Kleptocracy.
It was OPM’s money, not Jeb’s - that funded Right To Rise. Mike Murphy didn’t care how his candidate performed. Win or lose he was still going to get paid.
There is no tie between success and the compensation a political consultant gets from a campaign. Jeb Bush lost.
The real winner here is Murphy.
Pugs at the troughj
Rush talked about Bush and his “people”. He said months ago that Bush didn’t seem all that into it, but his handlers are. The Bush family bundlers and money men wanted their 6 figure jobs back in Washington DC and they thought throwing millions and millions of dollars at his election they would get their jobs and power back, always worked before.
And a thought studying Poli-Sci was a dead end.
The biggest irony is that in the age of instant personal communications, there is no need for political hacks, media, and money. We the People already have the means to take our country back at our fingertips.
Same cr** Carson is pulling....and everyone else. Politics pays!!
